This necklace is made with a genuine Israeli Judaica vintage coin that was minted at the beginning of the year 1982. The main theme on the observed side is an ancient galley which was used for sailing in the sea of Galilee in the old days, when Jesus lived there. The origin of this motif is an ancient coin issued by Herod Archelaus (4 b.c.e. - 6 c.e.) The artists who designed the observed side Gabi Neumann. This coin ceased to be legal tender in 1986. The coin is from my private collection and was mounted on the necklace by hand. This coin has been used by regular people in those days to buy things for their daily life. That means that the coin carries human stories and history, but will keep silence forever. The package is very simple so I can keep the price low.
