SLNCO SCOAC1978 Scow Suppressor Cover 7.6" Black Gun Stock Accessories

I used it for a year, then on one shoot it melted. Wasn't even full auto.Actually the cover did fine, but the Velcro on it melted.*After further research, I found that they make two versions. A low temp version #1978(I don't know why...) and a high temp version #1984. This retailer is selling the low temp version on Amazon. Silencer Co has both versions at the same MSR. Why would anyone by the low temp version unless they weren't told that it was low temp. Mine looks like the attached image.

Qualified with my patrol rifle with this on the can. The nylon Velcro which was overlapped was contacting the cab which began to smoke. I reapplied the can cover and had no issues. Wasn’t too impressed with the construction and material of the cover. But I supposed it worked and can’t conplain about the price.

Fits great! Makes it easier to hold when it is super hot!

Good cover for the price
