I think due to the size of this, it would look strange if hung above a king-size bed, but for queen or full, it's just fine. Well-made. The dowel rod fits together in 3 pieces. It's very tedious hanging the macrame onto the rod, takes time and sometimes they overlap and need straightened. I have mine covering an electrical panel in the bedroom, it was driving me crazy trying to cover it up, yet still have access if I needed to get to the circuit breakers.There is a string for hanging this up in a separate tiny plastic bag. To keep the wall hanging from falling off one of the ends, I drilled a hole on the top of each end and inserted a 3/4" stainless steel screw that is barely noticeable. Then I tied the hanging string to cover the places on the dowel rod where the ends joined up to one another. I hung this from a 3M Claw hanger into the drywall above the electrical enclosure. With all the wiring for the entire house in this one wall, I'm afraid to put any nails into it.Just the right "vibe" for my rustic bedroom.

Really pretty wall hanging! I am really impressed with the quality of the yarn, too. The dowel it came with is in three pieces and screws together. It is a thick dowel and screws together tight. Suggestion: when you hang the macrame, be sure to take your time with looping the fabric on the dowel.Have them evenly spaced once you hang it up. The more time you take arranging it, the better it looks.

This is perfect and looks beautiful in my bedroom just took a little bit to put all those loops through the wood bar (5 min) but wasn’t to bad, worth it for how it looks

This was a pretty good buy. I used to cover electrical panel. Only complaint is the ends were kinda scraggly but it did say to iron and mine was broken.
