McDonnel Douglas, F-4e/EJ/F/G/RF-4E Phantom II. Striking colour schemes (Spotlight ON)

Will be loved by F4 Phans, but we hunger for future editions of the many colorful F4s. 15 F4s are drawn in 4 views (both sides + top & bottom views) on 41 pages from USAF 3, Germany 6, Japan 3, Greece 1, Turkey 1, Israel 1. Further editions would benefit from a photograph of the F4 and information on (if known) background info on the scheme. Also, those many many stencils that cover the F4 could be left off in the artwork. I can't imagine an artist getting them 100% right.

What's not to like about this publishers books, with great colour profiles and interesting content. Must buy for anyone contemplating constructing any of the subjects as a model kit, or just interested in aviation history.

Book is colourful and of glossy paper. Reference to colour schemes useful for modelling purposes.

I profili e i disegni del phantom non bastano mai; con più di 5000 esemplari prodotti e in servizio in decine di nazioni l' aereo Mc Donnell resta una delle pietre miliari della storia dell' aviazione. Un piccolo ma prezioso volume, utile per modellisti e neofiti della materia aviazione con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. pregevole anche la carta e la qualità della stampa.

Sehr gute Serie über Militärflugzeuge, geht auch ins Detail, auch in den Grafiken, diese Art von Büchern sind eher selten auf dem Markt, freue mich über jedes dieser Bücher.

Gemessen am Preis ist das Buch noch in Ordnung. Die etwas willkürliche Auswahl der F-4 Farbprofile sowie die vielen Fehler bei den Untertiteln (falsche Typenbezeichnungen, falsche Verbandsangaben) schmälern das Gesamtbild jedoch erheblich.
