Some frills, all business
Controls are a bit tough, but for 50 bucks, they sound great, have low latency, I can still use them if the battery dies, they're comfortable, the battery lasts for 20+ hrs, and did I mention they're 50 bucks?
O**.
Comfortable!
The headphones are great, but the cord is insanely short. You'll want to purchase a longer cord if you are going to plug them into your computer, etc.

Nothing to write home about
The avantek audioMX wireless bluetooth headsets I have had now for one month and in that time I have found this particular headset troublesome. What I mean by that is that they are not particularly good quality. Now, I do realize that these are on the cheaper side of things, however I do quite believe that the materials could have been prioritized in a better manner to have a quality sound rather than a quality feel, as while the headset does in fact feel nice and comfortable, it none the less has a terrible, flat sound to it's expirience. Per example, when listening to any music with an amount of bass obove speaking volume, the drivers of the headset shake with enough result that it only buzzes the headset, failing horribly in the bass department. With the highs of music, I have found them to be non existent except for the rare case when the headset can express them, in which case it causes a tearing sound which is not very pleasurful. With those terrible highs and lows, the headset has the final problem that they just don't sound good even in the basic use of listening to podcasts or lite music. They sound tiney and makes you want a $5 pair of sony headsets found on the register rack of a grocery store, as those, while they don't have many highs or much of a base, they don't try and fail with it. Plus, at that end, they can project a higher simultaneous range of noises than this bluetooth headset.I will once again say they are indeed comfortable and easy to use with around the advertised battery life. This is the reasoning for the 2 stars over only 1. But the quality is simply an alarming low on this product, and I'd recommend steering clear of it.

8 month review - Love them
I love these. I use them daily as I listen to music and also take calls with them. I am told the the microphone volume isn't great when I'm on a call but I can live with that as it does work and I have used them for literally hundreds of calls without an issue. They are comfortable to use for a few hours at a time and the playback quality is excellent for the price range. I would pay double the price for these and consider them a bargain.

Almost perfect if not for...
I'm not an audiophile, but I do appreciate my music. I have a bowers and Wilkins stereo system, and love my headphones- currently using a pair of bowers and Wilkins P5s. As these aren't wireless, ive wanted to go Bluetooth but couldn't bring myself to spend £330 for the b&w px. Having saved a search for Apt-x headphones into Amazon, these came up on a flash sale so I went for them, and I'm impressed enough to keep them.Build wise these are mainly aluminium and easily look 70-80 worth, the box is very bowers and Wilkins esque too! They're fun to listen to, with great separation, strong bass and super clear treble. I can't give them full marks as they lack any real mid range, and sound like they're heavily processing the output to impress people, rather than being sonically accurate, but they're hugely enjoyable to listen to if you're not a sonic anorak.

A month in and the headpiece broke. :(
I always wait a while before writing reviews, because it sometimes happen that although I'm initially very pleased with the items, something happens in a short amount of time that renders said item useless. Sadly, this was the case with these headphones.Loved the design, the fit, and the sound. I use them for work, so I have them on my head for most of the day, and even though I wear glasses, I didn't find them uncomfortable at all. I really liked the sound quality as well, so I was overall quite impressed, since the price/quality ratio seemed really good. Sadly, after barely a month since receiving them, they just snapped! Literally, three minutes ago. The doorbell rang, I grabbed them and pulled them away of my head (no sudden movement or excessive force of any kind), and I heard and felt a snap. The top area of the head band broke inside the cushion bit, so I can't see it but it's definitely broken. And now I'm without headphones again. :(Maybe the headpiece is a bit small for my head? Maybe I have a giant head? Maybe it's just brittle, poor quality construction? I don't know, and I don't care, because right now I'm upset and I need headphones. So there.

Great cans for the price
Pairing is easy. The difference between the bluetooth sound and cabled sound is negligible. I've walked around the hoouse on bluetooth and only ever received a broken signal at the far corners of the property.Very occassionally on lower quality audio-files, the phones do tend pick up the very high-frequencies more than the lower ranges. Again though, I stress this will be on lower bit-rate MP3 files and does not occur on higher bit-rate MP3's or lossless files. I never noticed this on my other headphones, but believe this to be due to superior frequency separation on the these phones. The bass response was not as deep as I was initally used to, as the sound is more natural. However, listening to music via an Equalizer to boost that bass shows that these headphones can handle the bass load very well.Battery life seems incredible. I have used them over the last three days without charging for around 8 hours per day and they are still going. They are very comfortable and seem sturdy (with the metal arms), but are reasonably lightweight nonetheless.

Not quite 60 quids worth
I bought these on account there ten 5 star ratings here, and nothing else, which was impressive. I'm sorry to break that trend as sadly I sent these back. The bluetooth was a bit shaky and I tried multiple devices, and the sound quality, whilst decent, is not quite as good as I hoped for. I am quite particular about sound quality, so I guess you get what you pay for, but I think for £60 it should be a bit better. Specifically, it's not as rich as it could be, there's a subtle hollowness to the overall sound that I just couldn't shake off.
