Immediate fix
I left the battery in the original for too long; once it leaked inside, the spark generator stopped working. The GasSaf replacement was a perfect fit and only took 2 minutes to install. I recommend a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the existing leads off the old part. Also, I found it easier to attach the leads to the GasSaf before I mounted the part. Works great! BTW, the negative battery terminal inserts first.Recommended

Exact fit
Was an exact fit for my grill, and worked perfectly. It would be nice if it came with new wires and electrode.

Hope it lasts longer than the original
I used this to replace the original in my gas fire table. It is the same model as the original and works as expected. I just hope it lasts longer than the original, which was only 3 years old.

Easy off, Easy on
After removing the old igniter and while the wires are still on the old igniter, take the wires off of the old igniter one at a time and put them onto the new igniter one at a time, then insert the new igniter into the hole on the grill and screw the nut on, then insert the battery with the positive side sticking out and screw the push button cap on. I had a little trouble as it was a tight fit on my Oklahoma Joe’s grill and I was still able to complete the job in under 15 minutes.

Fits as if it was original equipment
Great fit and easy to install. Total process took less than 10 minutes start to finish - and that included looking for a battery and doing a little grill cleaning before installing the new part. An inexpensive and easy way to help revive a gas grill that is otherwise good.
