Excellent Clay. Very Well Packed!
This is just what the artist ordered!Perfectly-packed clay double-wrapped and then boxed, to arrive in pristine usable form. And what's not immediately being used can easily be reliably resealed for a later project.EXCELLENT clay; molds well, clings and lets go just as good clay will.PERFECT!

Okay clay
Overall, for the price of the clay it isn't a bad clay, it just requires a bit more work than the clay I normally get. So if you are willing to spend a bit more time than normal wedging, the value is good. This clay came fairly stiff, and required me to slice, spray and then leave for about 12-15 hours before it was possible to attempt to wedge it, and even after about 10-15 solid minutes of spiral wedging one half, and slam wedging the other half it was workable enough to throw on the wheel but was still a little rough. Two attempts on the wheel with the slam wedged pieces had both of them breaking when I attempted to cone it up to ensure it was centered, but after taking both chunks off the wheel and spiral wedging them with a little bit more water sprayed on they ended up working just fine. The two pieces I spiral wedged were also a bit rough to cone and required a bit more water than I'd normally use to initially open up a center for my pots.If the clay initially comes way too stiff to even try wedging, I'd recommend first dropping it on the floor from about waist height, 6 or 7 times, then dent it too see how malleable it is. That worked enough to get it unstiffened for me to start wedging it.

🤬HORRIBLE 👎🏻
Just not a good clay. Cracks very easily right out of the bag. It’s pain to throw with. Its consistency is okay if you have the patience to sponge out all the cracks every time you move the clay even just a millimeter. Maybe it would be good for little kids but if you’re planning on using it to sculpt I would consider another brand. I’m giving it 2 stars because I’m still able to use it for small dishes but once I’m done with this bag I will not be buying it again. Ew.Update: This Crap is the worst clay I’ve ever seen. You can’t work with it at all. I tired and it’s just cracking apart. Don’t waste your money or time trying to work with this stuff!!! I’m throwing it away. The cracks are on ever single piece I’ve tried to make. (I slow dried them for 3 days!!!)😡🤬

Not ideal for what I needed, but it fired well.
It might be because I'm inexperienced, but I needed this for an Intro to 3D Design class, where we did some clay sculptures. I found this clay difficult to work with and I couldn't get it to the exact moisture level I needed in order to create the sculptures I needed to--which led to reduced grade points. If you're well-experienced with clay working, this might work for you? Because I think you have to know what you're doing in regulating clay's wetness to get it where you need it.It fired well, though. I don't have a kiln but I placed my sculpture in a fire pit while I kept feeding it to keep things nice and hot, let it sit overnight as the embers cooled, and in the morning I had an undeniably ceramic bird statuette.
