Great shears for the price 2 months no problems. They are made of 440 steel so can be sharpened by my guy when needed.

There's a little bit of adjusting with these and they need to be sharpened but can be used, they're just very dull. When I first got them the tension screw kept loosening on itself but now it's fine after a month of use. The case doesn't really work with the set but it's a pretty generic set which still zips closed/ The Double swivel is smooth but loose and there aren't alot of ways to adjust to make them tighter so my thumb has gotten used to searching for the hole. All in all it's a great set of shears or even a great set of back up's!

Here is an overview of the good. These are cheap for swivel scissors and so I am happy with what I got.- The construction seems decent.- They are sharp enough to cut hair effectively- There is a nob at the fulcrum so that you can vary the tension! (I didn't note that in the description and was pleasantly surprised).There is nothing particularly bad but here are some potential issues and things I would expect to be better on a more expensive pair.- Consideration: Thumb holes are small for large male hands. I barely wear a size L glove and my thumb only fits through when I removed the blue plastic inside the thumb hole.- Consideration: The blade has a convex grind. I understand this is preferred grind for hair scissors. But if you plan on sharpening them yourself, you will probably need to be comfortable using a strop and compound. Note that if these are just for very occasional home use, you may NEVER need to sharpen them.- Issue: Fit and finish is okay but would definitely be better on a more expensive pair.- Issue: sharpness is okay but could probably be a bit sharper- Issue: Case is chintzy, but hey, it comes with a case! So that is a bonus anyway.*** Update*** One additional issue. Screw on the swivel became loose. When I tightened it, the screw poked a bit into the thumb. This would probably be an issue if I were a professional but for casual use its only a moderate inconvenience.

Decent quality shear w/ swivels. Just need to make sure the screws in the swille stay tight. They loosen easily with use and will fall out. Tedious on a long day of grooming but great for wrists.

These scissors work amazing! My boyfriend is a barber and he originally told me about these scissors, he has bought them for himself on another website a couple years back but he paid almost triple the price for his pair. I loved his pair of scissors so much that I decided to look up and see if Amazon had the same exact ones, lucky for me they did and I was able to save quite a bit of money by buying them on here. They are of good quality and are really sharp, they are good enough for barbers and hairdressers to get the job done

Screws will pop out mid haircut and customer service is terrible. They basically said oh well!

I researched how to give myself a hair cut during quarantine and found this great set of shears. I gave myself a surprisingly good pixie cut with them (my whole family was impressed!). The flexible thumb grip was extremely helpful, as I have a history of carpal tunnel syndrome. I plan to use these shears for quite some time, even after quarantine ends, to save some money on hair cuts.

I LOVE THESE SHEARS!!! I was very nervous to order these, as aome previous reviews had said that theirs had arrivrd dull. When I placed the Order, I contacted the seller to ensure They would be sharpened. They replied quickly and said that their shears should all come sharp, but to let them know if Ihad any issue. Turns out, I didn't even need to worry! My knucles can confirm that these are sharp, as my previous pair was so dull I was getting a bit sloppy with technique! The double swivels are wonderful and easy to tighten. They did not come with any tightening tool, so make sure you have a small flathead screwdriver. The jeweled center tension screw is a great added touch.The only thing this was missing for me was extra finger grips, but I have very small hands/fingers and I like my finger grips fairly snug.
