I enjoyed every poem in this book!!

I just received the book today and I am thrilled it came a day early! The packaging was perfectly fine and the book was in fantastic condition.This is not a book one can simply just read through, and that excites me the most. I love that it is categorized based on emotions which helps the reader decide where they want to start and see where it leads them. I love the authors style of descriptive words for beautiful imagery of emotions, the different fonts, spacing and clear affirmations. The cover is just as beautiful with its own personality shining through with the designs. And the texture is wonderful! Can’t wait to fully dive into this one. 10/10 because 5 isn’t enough!

In Surrender, Stefanie Briar takes the reader on a journey with her as she speaks with beauty, power and great insight on healing and gives the reader ways we can begin or continue our own healing journey. I felt so connected to the power of her words that I was in tears, but tears of healing and letting go. I found the section on “Change” so important as we cannot heal and grow without it. The section “Love” helps others fell that if they work on healing and changing they will not have to search for or force love. Briar’s love poems are so beautiful that they show that it does not matter the gender of the person you love, for love truly is love. I appreciate her bravery in speaking her truth to help inspire and empower others who are still in earlier phases, whether it be that they are lost, or have yet to embark on a healing path. Grateful to read this transformative book so eloquently written. Perhaps one of the greatest lines for me, and where I am on my own journey, “You cannot love someone into choosing you.” Thank you Stefanie for your words and your light.Michele Scirocco@phoenixrisingpoet

This book of beautiful poetry has been a huge blessing in my life. Stefanie Briar’s words touched my soul in ways I wasn’t expecting. Buy this book, let yourself sink into the pages, and emerge empowered.

I'm giving 4 stars sadly because the cover came diffrent then as advertised.i liked the cover shown on the page, the black one. However the book comes with the white cover

Straight to the heart and relatable for the types of loved that rip out your heart and mend it all at once.

This book is soul balm. Beautifully written from start to finish. Stefanie has once again created a masterpiece. Thank you for giving a voice to all those who didn’t have one in their past, those who need one right now, and those who will be inspired to claim their own in the future.
