Q: How well will this armor fit under leathers when it isnt super hot and thats an option?

YES if you buy oversized leathers. I bought A Super Nice Wilson Leather Motorcycle jacket in XL which was 2 sizes above the size of my BIonic 2 & it fit perfectly. I had a super thick leatherJacket to protect against road burn & the Alpine star Bionic 2 beneath it. When I was diagnosed with sclerosis I sold my Motorcycle. But IT will fit under a leather jacket. But when you pick the jacket make sure you try it on with the protective gear on. Ya know just use basic common sense. It worked perfectly for me.

Q: Looking for gear for my 15 y/o daughter and 8 y/o son. I’m not seeing a sizing chart? Is there one available ?

There is a size chart available on the Alpinestars website. Scroll all the way to the bottom and under 'Customer Service' you will see size charts.

Q: Is back plate removable?

Yes they are removable for adding a neck brace if wanted.
