These were exactly what I wanted! Over the years we've become an Apple family but as everyone knows the charging cords that come with all their devices get frayed and don't last long. So between my home and three cars, finding a charging cord is like playing musical chairs...Not fun! When I found these Apple MFI Certified short cords I was so excited that I bought two 5-Packs. As usual with Amazon, I got them really fast but I was skeptical because "You get what you pay for" and I paid very little. They ALL WORKED! (Yes, I tested every cord) They look and feel identical to Apple's cords but cost next to nothing. These cords are 8" from tip to tip so super compact for charging on the go plus they don't clutter up my purse and car. It's perfect for a charging station and ideal for travel. I waited to leave a review because Apple's extremely proprietary products will often reject non-Apple accessories after several uses so I wanted to be sure they would continue to work before recommending them. It's 3/20/18 and I've been using them to charge iPhones, iPads & iPods regularly, if not daily since 2/08/18 without issue. These have saved me and my family a lot of frustration and were totally worth every penny. So don't hesitate. Just get them. They work.

Have had similar products before such as chargers that were not compatible with our Apple products; not the case here with G-Cord. We purchased a new car where the I-phone connection is in the center console between the two front seats. Initially were using the standard issue 3 ft Apple cord, but took up space even then coiled and secured with a tie-wrap. G-Cord's 7 in. length is just right, being able plug in our phone and set it on its side. Used a second charging cable on the wife's alarm clock, which had a short stub of a cord and hard to use. Good purchase, good product.

I have had these charging cables for almost a year now, and three of them have died. Meaning, three of them don’t charge anymore, so I have thrown them away. I have a few extra- because they came with so many- but I would prefer for all of them to work! So choose what you want- buy a lot of charging cables for pretty cheap, but then have a lot of them die, or spend a little more money...

Yes, these cords are short—about 8" including the length of both plugs, or about 6" of cable between the plugs. The good news, though, is you often don't need, or even want, a longer cord. In fact, with a pocket charger or laptop, a short cord is a definite plus. I have had these chargers for about a week, so I can't talk about long-term durability, but they seem very solidly constructed. Have had zero compatibility problems with my iPhone and iPad, and the cables seem to charge my devices particularly quickly—certainly faster than any other inexpensive third-party cable I've tried.

These things really work well and keep the house tidy from multiple long cords

I have had my last pack for many years. These are definitely MFI certified.

Will be getting another pack!
