Very nice vest. I tried one other style of vest, but I tried this one on the recommendation of the trainer I was working with and I'm so glad I did because this worked so much better. This harness has a breast piece that is cushioned and allows a comfortable fit. The harness has four buckles so the breast piece can be completely detached from the top part.The harness has loops to attach saddle bags, and there is a metal connector for a leash by the handle, which is very sturdy and secure. Each side has a velcro strip for patches and they are very strong - I never had to worry about the patches so much as shifting.My favorite feature of this harness though, was the peace of mind it offered. Whenever I drove, I used the harness loop to buckle in my dog in the car and I was so glad I did because one day when driving, a car cut me off and I had to slam my brakes on to avoid an accident. The force was enough to throw my 86 lb Golden Retriever off the seat, but with the vest being buckled, she was able to hold her seat and the force that could have caused serious injury on her neck (if I'd used her collar to buckle her with) was evenly distributed on her body which prevented injury. That alone was worth every penny I spent, and I'm going to get another one for my current puppy.There's also an elastic strip on the back that can be used to hold things, like cellphone or wallet, which made shopping really nice. I highly recommend this vest, it's perfect for service dogs.

My 7 month old Shepinois looks great in this vest. It's a little bit in the neck/ chest but he has plenty of room to grow. It fits well, too. I wish there was a "D" ring in the front chest area but it isn't a deal breaker for me. My patches look great on it. It's easy to put on and take off.Durability? Time will tell but it seems to be made very well and time will surely soften it and it'll fit him perfectly.I'm glad I chose this one. I got Large size. My boy is 7 months and about 65 pounds. The straps are as short as they go and even though he has room, I don't find it shifting or rubbing. It does slide if I put a water bottle on top or if I put a molle only on 1 side. Balance is key. Plus he has room to grow and I don't have to buy another one in a few months. I'm glad I got Large

First of all, this is the Excellent Elite Spanker harness, it's just being sold under a different name. I measured my dog and ordered accordingly, however the harness is still a teeny bit too large, but hoping my dog will grow into it. It's great to mount pouches on, my dog now carries his own poop bags, spare leash, etc, and on long hikes he can carry water and a first-aid kit. I do wish it was reinforced with kevlar or something tough, my dog has already begun chewing through one of the front straps, although this is also a result of it being slightly too large so he can get his mouth in there.

This harness was our 3rd harness, so if you can not figure out the size according to the chart then let me make it simple, go medium if your dog is 2.5 feet tall head to ground on all fours and 3 to 4 feet in length. Dogs that tower over 3 feet like Marmaduke (Great Dane) Doverman Pinchers and Bull Mastiffs then go Large. There is also of slack in medium size. I almost went small if it exist. The quality is great. Already 2 months and my dig has stretched it a bit so he can clean and lick his azz. Yep if your dog can't lick his azz then it is too tight. No worries after use he will push it and force it to loosen until it becomes comfortable.

This thing is great. Was hesitant about getting a medium for my dog. She is Boxer/Cane Corso mix. So basically, she's a big boxer. The fit is good. It tends to kinda buldge on the sides but I think it's mainly her shape. Very adjustable. It's made of excellent material, seems very durable, and she likes wearing it. Only wish it was a tad longer but would definitely buy again. Just a personal note, be sure to put the bottom part on facing the correct way. Velcro on front of chest.

I bought this for my shepherd in training, 10 months old, 80 pounds, thin, but full of energy and the muscle that powers it. Well made, exactly what I expected, an XL, good product for active dog. I have it adjusted all the way in but still too large and sloppy, hoping he grows into it or will pass it off to his Rottie sister as she fills out and then purchase him a large. Sizing was hard to determine ahead of order.

I use this harness whenever I take my dog hiking. I have velcro badges that I also use so people know if he's training. When he was younger I would attach a long training line to help with recall.

Just received the vest, looks awesome, and well made. Only problem is it’s a tab bit to large. Even snugged tight. Unfortunately they don’t make this any smaller then a Med. so I’ll be returning it. But if they made it in a small I buy it without hesitation again. Please make this in a small!!!!
