The media could not be loaded.  Okay, so there are no patches, at all, I was under the impression that there would be, but the ad was confusing. There are none, just velcro where you can attach patches..With that disclaimer aside, the harness itself appears very high quality. I chose the large harness, and with that size, the neck part at it's smallest measures approximately 21”, and when fully extended, measures approximately 32”. The part that goes around the chest, can shrink down pretty small, but fully extended, I would say no more than 39”. The finish on the strap is not folded over or anything, just finished off to keep from fraying, so it could easily come undone. I would be careful about how far you extend it so it doesn't come loose. Thus why four stars instead of 5.Other than that, it appears very strong. Has two spots with velcro to add things on. Has a very strong handle, and the hook appears metal.My German Shepherd appears to really like this. It fits him well, (he's a 65 lb shepherd). He seems to want to be a service dog. He is adopted, so who knows what kind of history he had, but he takes to it real well. Even though it seems kind of small, it fits very well, and doesn't appear to annoy, or irritate the dog.A free sample was provided in exchange for an honest review. I don't like to receive crap, even if it is free, and just like you, I too am a consumer that depends on others reviews for my purchasing decisions.

I purchased this for my dog several months ago, as I wanted a simple yet firm tactical harness that he could wear since I take him for walks in a near by park about three times a day. He is a 65 pound mixed breed, border collie, possibly mixed with a pitbull. The harness fit him very well and I loved walking him with it for awhile, but eventually a flaw in the design of the harness came out and it did so numerous times since I have had it.The flaw I am speaking of is in the plastic buckle. Just the slightest bit of pressure on either side of the latch will dislodge it, if you have any pressure on your leash, that's all that will be needed to completely pull the latch straight out of the buckle and off comes the entire harness. This has happened many times as I have mentioned and it has scared the hell out of me each time, as there is lots of dogs around at this city park. Fortunately my dog listens to me so he doesn't run off or he could have went on a rampage. I want to like this item; but, because of that major fault, I have to look into buying a better one now.I tested the buckle out with just my hands several times, just to see how easily the buckle would unsnap and was shocked at just how easy it was to accomplished. As I mentioned before, all I had to do was apply just a tiny bit of pressure to one of the latches on either side and it would come right out of the buckle if I was pulling even slightly on the buckle. A way they could possibly fix this is by increasing the amount of pressure required to push the latches in, possibly increasing the size of the lip on those latches so you have to push them further inside to dislodge them or to make the buckle wider so that the latches are further in, thus making it harder for them to be pushed in by the dog's torso.

I'm always a little sceptical buying anything online clothing wise, that includes my pets. But this harness is PERFECT. I needed something that I could use to grip from on top just in case I needed to. The latch for the leash looks solid and able to handle a good pull. I'm hoping this will help with his leash training without risk of breaking. If I do not update it means he never broke it.I ordered a large just in case, I own a 70 pound pitbull, not bully breed. He has a wide chest though and the large fit him PERFECT.It has TONS of room to spare but always measure just to be safe.He loves it and happily jumps through the neck hole so I can attach it.I'd attach pictures if possible but cannot for some reason. All in all however we're both absolutely pleased.UPDATE: The harness eliminated his pulling problem with proper training and I LOVED how much control I had over him when normally he had all the control. Downside, he destroyed it in under four months. This is my fault however as he can destroy a new basketball in under five minutes he scissor chewed his way through the harness in two minutes when I left him unattended. I loved this harness so much that I'm going to purchase another one soon enough. I hope this review helps others! Just don't leave your dog's unattended in them!

I love this for my dog. he's a little bit of a puller, and the position the leash anchors on this vest makes him 150% better on leash, his whole mannerism is much more "controlled" . If you've never tried a harness for your dog, it's a game changer :) I have a 90 lb stafford terrier and I got the large which is a perfect fit. He has a elongated chest and there is still room left on the strap to get bigger. The handle on the saddle is strong and sturdy. If I could change one thing; I would like to make the upper chest/ neck strap angle a little more comfortable or maybe some sort of pad, just because of it's rigid nylon construction, my dog has short hair and when we go on long runs I see some redness from the abrasion. Doesn't slow him down one bit, he loves the extra play time this vest has added

I loved it, but I didn't keep it. The harness worked great, loved the color, the convenient handle, the ease of use, size of the buckles, literally EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, my dog trainer insisted that I needed a harness that pulls from the front of his chest, not over his back. Apparently pulling from his back gives him too much torque, so while we are training, I needed something different.I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't have trouble with excessive pulling, it is a great harness & I will consider purchasing again in the future when I get my dog properly trained!Oh, If Feliscanis wants to add another leash point to the front strap of the harness, I would re-purchase in a heartbeat!
