Worthless Do Not Buy!!!
It worked okay for about a year period. Then stop working altogether. I've been having to take ice cold showers or boil water to bathe. And good luck trying to find anybody to stand behind the warranty or service to the dang thing!

Buy it without hesitation
Endless hot water. Took 2 licensed plumbers 6 hours to install. Itβs exactly what I was hoping for

Energy saver for sure
Put this in my home. I have to wait maybe a minute for the hot water. Didn't use a recirculating pump. But endless hot water and cheap utility bill.

Faulty parts, company does not stand by their warranty.
I purchased an AO Smith water heater. Immediately upon installation, the water was coming out scalding hot despite resetting the temperature to the lowest setting. The unit had a faulty thermostat. I called about the warranty. The first operator I spoke too gave me the name of a recommended plumber, but said if I can't get them to call a local plumber and I will be reimbursed. The recommended plumber didn't operate in my state so I called the local plumber. They had to replace the thermostat, and due to the faulty thermostat they had to replace a heating element. The cost was $400. When I followed up on the warranty I was informed I would only be reimbursed $100. I called back and spoke to a second operator who told me "I wish you would have talked to me first. I would have walked you through troubleshooting steps and told you how to get parts cost reimbursed to do it yourself" and got a spiel about how its their policy that they can only reimburse $100 for plumbers out of their network, even though I did not have an option of a plumber in their. That would have been very handy to know, but the first operator didn't even let me know that was an option, nor were there details about it in any of the paper work I got. I am now out $300 on my brand new water heater because this company does not stand by their warranty. I will not be spending another dime on any of their products, and recommend you do not either.

False Advertising
The product pictured and described is NOT the ATI-540H-N! I included a picture of what that product actually looks like.

A bit expensive but worth the money
The install was fairly easy, just some minor plumbing to move the existing water lines to accommodate the tankless water heater. PVC ducting made exhausting very easy and the gasket built into the stainless collars fits snugly over a 3" PVC coupler. I was worried about the exhaust fan noise because I had done some research on other tankless water heaters and some said this was a problem but I could barely tell it was on other than a low frequency hum. I replaced a working water heater with the tankless because am finishing my basement and would lose the opportunity to do this in the future so I bit the bullet and haven't run out of hot water since.
