Overpriced. Only ordered because I needed to finish nose and horns on my crochet project. Came out great. Love the color, super soft and easy to work with

I never write negative reviews, but this time I feel like I need to. I did not realize how fragile this yarn really was until I attempted to connect several pieces of an amigurumi craft. The yarn crochets nicely until you either make a mistake and have to unravel it or you attempt to use a needle to stitch the pieces together. Once the yarn has been touched more than once or twice it begins to fray. By the time I had finished the project I was covered in the pieces of yarn velvet and the project had a few spots that’s were nearly threadbare from all of the shedding. I obviously would advise anyone who has the misfortune of this purchase to never wash the yarn when the project was completed. I would have returned the item but I had already crocheted the item almost completely and didn’t have any problems till I corrected a few mistakes. Needless to say that after hours of work I had to tell my customer that I had to redo the item. I have used many types of yarn over the years and never have I found something so terrible.

The yarn is very soft and easy to work with. Colors are gorgeous. They always arrive early. Second time ordering. Very pleased. One thing to keep in mind about this yarn is you have to be very gentle with it. It doesn’t like being pulled hard. Also if you have to undo your work to re do it due to a mistake, then you need to be very careful how you undo your stitches. I learned to go very slow and manually undo them one by one. Then it’s ok. Sounds like a hassle but it’s worth it. I would definitely recommend this yarn.

If you're new to chenille yarn, there's a learning curve. Everything other reviews say about this yarn is true- it snaps fairly easily, magic circles are hard and it's easy to pull fibers and have a bald spot. That all said, I've generally found this true with all chenille, regardless the brand. This brand is softer than some of the cheaper ones I've gotten and the skein is generous if you're making small to medium amigurumi. The biggest issue I have is the coloring but that's to be expected when I see one color on my phone vs in real life when it arrives. The trick to using it is be gentle, don't use high tension and when closing your magic circles, pinch the bunch as you pull and you'll be alright. Once you figure out this yarn, it's easy. I just ordered several more so I can figure out which color is the right one to make my Korilakkuma amigurumi, since this initial color isn't right, but I decided to make a test one and was pleased enough to keep with the brand.

Soft yarn but breaks very easily. Made a crochet raccoon and the yarn would break midway on stitches. I gave 3 stars for softness but would give 1 star for quality.

This was exactly as expected. I will order again when looking for velvet yarn this weight.

This yarn absolutely sucks! I can't even finish a Magic Circle because everyime I try to tighten my loop, it just breaks as soon as I start to barely pull. Just working with it in general the material is coming off the string

I've purchased/used several different colours of this yarn, I love it! Of course, with any chenille yarn there's some fluff but for the most part this yarn isn't as messy as others I've tried. I love the choice of colours, the delivery is always spot on, and as I mentioned in the title I find it easy to work with. Very soft and I'm super happy. Hope you find what you need, maybe it's this yarn - try it for yourself. I've made amigurumi with it and turned out great (several projects) PS Amigurumi is the art of making things such as dolls, stuffies, etc.) This yarn is perfect for plush stuffies. I’m using this for small teddy bears and it’s super soft. No tearing, but theirs a white string in the middle when you cut it, so if it does tear, it could ruing the look
