A Good Buy
These 3 gallon bags are strong enough to handle our kitty litter waste clumps for two cats each day. They are packed in a small square box as a roll, and you tear each one off as needed. At sixteen cents apiece, I think it's well worth it. I've tried a couple other brands on Amazon, but these are the best ones.

Most durable compostable bag I've tried!!
These compostable bags are great!! Most durable compostable bag I've tried. Other bags I've tried have been much more delicate, which sucks especially because hey we are picking up poop and mistakes are gross. Also, they come with just the bags and not the container receptacle which many other bags I tried did not have that option. Obviously if I'm buying compostable bags I care about plastic waste so I don't want to have extra carriers which are made of plastic. Also pleased that the first bag that is affixed with a small sticker to keep the roll tight, stays intact when you peel the sticker off. All the other bags companies I've tried have not mastered that and that first bag would almost always be torn when that sticker is peeled off. I'm very pleased with the quality of these bags. I highly recommend!! The only thing that is a little funny is that they are a little transparent so you can kinda see the poo, but that's not a big deal really.

They break down quickly
I bought a box of these recently, when my preferred brand of compostable bags wasn't available. These are demonstrably biodegradable--the first time I used them, I took the compost out after a week and the bag was like Swiss cheese when I pulled it out of the bin, full of holes. I need to empty it every couple of days, or else these bags will leak. I guess it's a trade-off--the bags break down more easily, but I need to use more of them.

Can't attest to how biodegradable they are, but....
...they certainly are strong enough to stand up to our household garbage.I've tried other brands with mixed results, but this is the 2nd order I've received of this brand and I'm happy with them.As I mentioned, I can't attest to how long it takes for them to biodegrade, but it seems ridiculous to seal biodegradable trash and rubbish into a "forever" plastic bag.....(somewhat like those people who bag their dog poop, which would quickly and naturally biodegrade, in a plastic bag and then leave it in the woods where the bag will never biodegrade🙄. I bagged my doggy poop in a biodegradable bag too, or when appropriate left it with the bear/coyote/mountain lion poop) just for it to go to the dump and take decades (or longer) to break down, while the contents would have broken down and biodegraded quickly.I'm not a fanatic about this sort of stuff, but some ideas just don't make sense to me....I do what I can to reduce, reuse and recycle, and that extends to the sort of garbage bags I use. These tear nicely from the roll, hold up to all sorts of garbage in my household, seem to contain everything well, including wet foods, coffee grounds etc. They don't break when I haul the bag out of the bin and chuck them in the rolling trash cart. Job done

cheaper but thinner than other compostable bags
I tried these because 4 cents a bag sounded much better to me than 10 cents or more. So far, I haven't actually had a tear or a puncture, but they are definitely thinner than other bags I've tried (also home compostable). They feel more like a store produce bag in thickness. I'll keep using them, but I'm not sure I'd get them again... I'll update the review after I've used them a few more weeks, figure by then I'll know if they are as sturdy as they need to be or not!

Okay but impossible to separate from roll
I got these to replace bags that i had been using for a while. These are thinner and break down sooner, so you want to be sure to get your trash out daily, especially with wet stuff in it. They’re still okay, though. What i hate is how poor the perforation is. They do not separate easily at all, have no mark for you to see where the perf is, and require you to use scissors if you don’t want a ragged edge. I’ve ruined several bags trying to tear them from the roll. I’ve also had random bags with splits in them - perhaps from the manufacturing process? I will not be buying more of these.
