I've been eyeballing this set for a while and finally decided to spoil myself after Christmas and get it. It came in a PINK box! First time I ever received anything from Amazon in a pink box. :). Each bottle was packaged in bubblewrap. I washed them and noted each bottle had a removable rubber seal around the lid. In additions, the latch is styled after the traditional latch for older bottles of this kind, however, in this case, the latch is made of what I believe is an aluminum wire. Regardless, the latch works well and I think it suits the size of the little bottle. Definitely think these are cute and have a variety of uses. I may store my spices or I may decide to store my jewelry bead in them. :) I'm thinking of ordering a second set. I wonder whether I'll get another pink box? ;)

I use these 3.4 ounce hermetically sealing bail jars for my perfumery tinctures. They are the perfect size for my experimental perfumery tinctures, (3 1/4 inches tall, 2 inches wide). I like how well they seal, not allowing smells in and not letting the scent/extract evaporate out. I was purchasing the 24 packs of the grant howard bail jars of the same size and shape, but the price kept rising and they are becoming harder and harder to find, so figured I'd try these. I was worried when I read the reviews stating these were warped upon arrival, but mine are perfect. The glass is not warped, the bail hinges function perfectly (very well actually), and they were also really well packaged and protected. I'm very impressed with the quality and I'm ordering another case right now! I also purchased three wire racks from Amazon, and these jars fit into them perfectly. I'll add a photo of the racks with the jars. I haven't had my hubby put the second and third racks on the wall yet, but for reference, will snap a pic of one and add that too. These jars have clear rubber seals lining the glass top, and the grant howard jars have orange rubber seals. I prefer the clear. These jars have thick glass. I've dropped one onto the wood floor, and it did not break. The bail hinges are sturdy, and seal the glass top onto the jar tightly. They are not stationary on the jar, so you can turn the entire bail hinge, having the closure facing out front or on a corner. I close my jars with the bail hinge on the corner. I agitate (shake, rattle and roll!) these tinctures daily, and I've had no leakage. I love these jars and I am definitely going to buy some more to hold my dried garden herbs for cooking! Update: I've purchased more jars, I have had no warping or issues! Love these little jars! I'll continue to purchase, thank you!

I use them for my loose leaf tea. Works well and looks cute. The pen does not write well on the black labels. The pen should have a pointer tip.

First of all, these jars are adorable and perfect for what I need them for, so no complaints there.The issue I have is that one of the selling points for me was the accessories it came with. It's advertised to come with a funnel, chalkboard stickers, chalk pen, and a brush to clean it with.The order came with everything but the brush. I was extremely disappointed because that was the biggest concern for me, being able to clean it properly.Of course, I can go out and purchase a baby bottle brush, which looks to be the same type, but that's not the point.The product did not come as advertised.

I bought these to use with herbal remedies to treat my Lyme disease. It was a big problem to find glass jars as recommended for the Cowden protocol. I started using small ball mason jars because I needed 4 jars daily and 2 extras to cycle with. The metal on the lids rusted in a week. I switched to baby food jars...again rust. I bought make your own baby food glass jars with plastic covers and they leaked. So I finally tried these and I'm relieved that I have found something I can use. I have recommended them to the Cowden FB group because everyone was sharing about the lack of good glass containers with water tight lids. The metal fittings are strong and well fit. The bottles do not leak even when traveling. And I gave the spares to a friend for cannabis storage and she also says they're perfect for that as well. Good quality for a very good price.

I occasionally make homemade salad dressing. These are perfect.But I also have to pack linseed oil in an oil painting kit. No leaks! Great product. Run it through the dishwasher!
