I gave it 5 stars because it is a great value for the price.It should be common sense, but as is obvious in some of the previous reviews.People seem to believe the quality should be similar to a $49-$80 bumper. This is not true.With that said; it is a very asthetically good looking bumper. Protection is as expected, protects edges from nicks and lifts the screen/back off a surface when set down.Bumpers are not designed for impact damage. Tape the phone to your hand or wrap it in 6 inches of bubble wrap if you are constantly dropping your phone.After 4 days, there is no discoloration or any other blemishes on the bumper.I am pleased with this purchase and will probably buy 6 or 7 more as these are disposable bumpers for the price.

I've used many iPhone cases from cheap to expensive ones, and so far this is the best case I can find personally. One tip though... The back of power button and volume button are not thick enough that pressing the buttons are almost impossible. But this can be fixed by applying 3M tapes (about 5 layered together) on. That why I'm only giving it 4 stars. But once fixed. They are great!

Functional bumper for the price. Like all white gel bumpers, the white gets dirty pretty quickly, but there's not much of a way to get around that. The top button came loose after about 3 weeks, but it pushes back into place and is still functional. These bumpers are so inexpensive, it's easy enough to just order another one if there's a problem with it.

I use these to protect my iphone edges from being nicked or scratched.They do a good while still letting the beauty of the iphone shine through.My only complaint is that the white ones pick up the color of the dyes from my blue jeans when i keep the phone in my pocket.

I've had the official Apple brand bumper for my iPhone 4, and wanted the same for my white iPhone 5. The quality of these is about the same, and I've dropped my phone MANY times with no damage. Great case, but buy a few if you are rough with your phones. I go through about 2 a year, mostly from the power button falling off and the white getting dirty, but they are well worth it.

If you just need a bumper, this is for you. It keep iPhone 5 in its original design. The only thing I don't like about is the white color that is difficult to keep it clean. It changed color at the corner areas. I would buy a black one next time.

Very sleek and simple. Fits great and doesn't stretch after time as some rubber cases I've had in the past have done. Practically made money from this!! Great quality. Only downfall, which is an obvious given, is that it's sometimes hard to keep the white from getting dirty.

It feels a bit thicker on the borders. The bumper still serves the purpose and a great price. Previous ones I've had have been a bit slim than these. Also, the one I received had no grey on it, it's ALL white on the borders and clear in the middle (which is what I wanted).
