56907 Rain 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware 36-Piece Set, Gold Finish, Service for 12

I bought these utensils in August 2018. It is now end of December and half of the forks in this set have faded their coloring almost completely. I researched a set that would be dishwasher safe, and thought that’s what I was getting. I’m really disappointed. They looked so promising, and refined. Now that I see them fading the set looks cheap. Lesson learned - I will not be buying from this company again.

Buy these. You won't regret it. I just got my new silverware and got to open it and I'm super happy with it. I was leery about ordering it online because I like to be able to feel the edges of the spoons and forks to make sure they are smooth. I have trouble using them if not. 😁 Yes, I'm odd. I needed to order mainly because I think one of my kids has been throwing my butter knives away. I was down to like 5 out of a service for 8. This is a problem for my family of 4 with 3 of them being teenagers. Sandwiches aplenty around here. These pieces are so nice! The forks are larger than I'm used to but should be fine. They are substantial but not too heavy. I had thought at first there were flaws on the knives but it was just some black stuff that scratches off easily. Overall I think this is a great buy! Will definitely buy again if needed and will be purchasing for wedding showers in the future!Update: These are still pretty but the butter knives rust frequently and are hard to clean.

I am very frustrated. The title of your product clearly says “18/10” repeatedly, then in the fine print which I am now reading it says 18/0. Big difference. And the reason I was reading the fine print is because the spoons are not dinner spoons as they are described. They are much smaller dessert or coffee spoons. So wrong size wrong composite. I would like to be contacted by the company so that I can find out what the truth is for the composite. I do not want 18/0 silverware.

Got these to bolster up my existing cutlery (different maker but similar look). Liked the reviews so bought a bunch. We like the serrated knives (especially my kids - easier for them to cut food). They are heavy enough to not feel cheap but not so heavy that the knives crash to the floor when my kids clear the table. I bought these in Nov '17, here is it Feb '19 and we are noticing rust spots. My son commented "this one isn't clean" -but it was rust. We are a big family, so this cutlery is used a lot. I do put them in the dishwasher but we don't use heavy amounts of soap (about 1 T per load is all you need!). I'm not sorry we have it, just a bummer that it's beginning to show rust spots.

All of the silverware arrived scuffed and damaged. However the box was in pristine condition, so it wasn’t an issue with the delivery but rather product quality unfortunately. So while we have an incomplete set now, in addition to the state of the exterior, the design of the knifes leaves a lot to be desired. Not only does it not match the forks and spoons, the knife handles do not fit in together. So you cannot fit your full knife set in without having to use multiple slots in an organizer. For the price of these, I would expect much better. Not a great value overall.

I wanted something plain, yet tasteful and nice. I was surprised to find this silverware was not only all of that but much more. I recognize this from years and years and years ago when I used to go out to eat frequently. OMGosh! I'm beyond pleased. Nicely boxed, each piece is individually wrapped. The knives have a handle that's large enough to be easily gripped, the teaspoons are a nice size and the forks have long tines and are weighty without being heavy. I am delighted with this set. I have no need for soup spoons or salad forks, so this was exactly what I was looking for. They shine like mirrors and are well made. I wanted 18/10 silver, which they appear to be and as for durability, if they've been around in restaurants, they have to be pretty darn good. Great set at 12 each and a good price for such quality. I'd give it a dozen more stars if I could.

I had rust spots appear within the first week, should have returned these that day. About three months in and rust is heavily present most of the knives and forks. These will be complete trash before the year is out.

I bought this flatwear in 2017. I love it. I just wanted knives forks and spoons. I didn’t need 2 different spoons and 2 different forks. These fit the bill! I had read the reviews and yes I’ve had a few spots of rust show up on the knives. Thats the reason for 4 stars. I just scrub them off and they’re good as new. They go in the dishwasher beautifully. I also rinse the food off first. Perhaps not doing that has been the reason for the problem others have dealt with. Mine have soaked in water for hours and been fine. I’m debating order another set because I run out of forks or spoons before my dishwasher is full! I would definitely recommend.

Two weeks of use and the knife handles are rusting already.
