P2 Golf Closest to The Pin Tool

Donated these to my golf club. Previously we were measuring distance to the pin with a driver. Not anymore.

I don't know why this is so expensive. The hole part is lightweight metal and the tape measure is atrocious. It does the job and it surprisingly didn't break during a full tournament. I would buy again but for no more than $35

THE PROXIMITY MARKERS WITH A 50' TAPE ARE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY IF YOU RUN GOLF TOURNAMENTS. USING THE TAPE MEASURE TAKES ALL THE QUESTIONS OUT OF WHO IS THE CLOSEST TO THE HOLE. THEY ARE MADE WELL AND THE TAPE IS METAL. I PURCHASED 5, SOME COURSES WE PLAY HAVE 5 PAR 3 HOLES. DON'T RUN A TOURNAMENT WITHOUT 4-5 OF THEM

I'm disappointed in the lack of quality with the Stanley tape measure. Ours broke the very first day when it wouldn't roll up. Taking it apart, the tab at the end of the ruler tape was broken. I cut out a new notch and did it again. Same thing. No matter what, it was so brittle it would break. It's complete junk or a defective unit. So, I'm in the process of trying to get a replacement or our money back.

Overall my golf association likes these, but a couple issues so far. The metal tape is easily twisted because the tape case just sits in the groove on the back, but doesn't click into place or have a securing latch of some sort. The older models had larger tape measure cases that latched into place under the handle. So IMHO this newer version is a design flaw.

This is so much better than the last one we had. This one is made of metal not of plastic and even the tape measure is metal. This should last our ladies organization a long time. We are very happy and satisfied with the purchase of it.

Our golf club wanted their own CTP devices. These are well built and easy to use.
