Hand made piece. Base: Stands 18" tall with a base of 10" x 10" Made of 19 feet of choice selected red oak finish board. Every piece of the lamp was polyurethaned by hand with 4 coats of gloss clear. Held together with 3/8" steel bolts. Weighs about 9 pounds. Pictured model is 2 toned with sedona red and ebony stain. I can make one of these in any color(s) of minwax stain, so feel free to message me with your ideas. Pendant: A series of 10 rings stacked atop one another and glued to form a cylinder. It is then sanded down in a rotary fashion until it's wall thickness is about 1/3 of and inch. The thin wall thickness allows light to penetrate through and illuminate the distinctive grain patterns in a reddish glow. I then rotate the cylinder and apply 6 coats of gloss clear polyurethane. Sanding with 600 grit sandpaper between coats. The photos really don't do it justice. Still looks distinctly wooden but with a noticeable acrylic surface. ALSO NOTE: I do not recommend using incandescent light bulbs. L.E.D. bulbs are recommended. I will ship with a suitable and safe bulb included.
