I am not sure how long this helmet will last. It is basically painted polystyrene. But my main factor was weight as my previous helmet was fairly heavy and my neck felt really stiff after wearing it is so I was looking for something super light. I ended up getting this one. Which worked really well on sunny days as I didnt need any googles (just used the visor). But on snowy days snow would get in under the visor so opted to wear actual goggles for those days which again increased the head weight a bit.In summary: Very light, Probably only last a few seasons before visor gets scratched but as they cost about the same as a pair of goggles that seems OK. Not great for snowy days (still need goggles). Otherwise a great bargain to lower head weight.

it was very secure when falling over and did not hurt much because the helmet was padded. goggles seemed to work well against the sun advice still wearing suncream still

Great value for money. the visor does scratch quickly but for such a low cost helmet this isnt a massive issue. luckily you can unscrew it and use your own goggles.

Well what child in this day likes to wear any kind of mask. Ski goggles definitely feel like a mask even though the nose is not covered- they fit tight around the fact and that ticks off my son who hates it.This mask is a lifesaver because the goggles do their job without tightly fitting around the face, and because it is so easy to push them out of the way when not needed. We like that we don't have to worry about goggles not in use falling behind the head, to be held only by a normal helmet strap- this helmet removes the problem.I worried about scratchin and that it would easilly break- also that it would not be reflective, but the helmet came with mirror like goggles which we are thrilled with and the goggles seemed sturdy enough. It came with a plastic goggle cover which we kept and put back on whenever the helmet was off the head.This is a great value for money and its nice to have just one bit less to deal with when assembling all of your snowsport gear.
