This is one great little water bottle! I used it on a 9-day adventure travel trip to North Africa and it was my personal source for purified water hydration 95% of the trip. Pros: DOES NOT LEAK! Very comfortable to carry hung from a belt while walking/hiking - feels like an extension of your body brushing against your leg; I was very thankful it has the clear plastic cover as it kept the mouthpiece clean and free of dust and debris (which there was a LOT of); said cover is very durable - no scratch or crack when I dropped the nearly full bottle on cement right on the cap! Stands upright even when below 50% full. Bright blue color is easy to spot among camp clutter. Wide mouth makes it a breeze to refill. I never noticed any chemical taste during use. CONS: a bit heavier than I wanted; not as compact when stored as I had hoped; bottle must be manually vented - easy, but an extra step - and this is required if you want it to stand upright as it empties out. The storage binder kept coming off when not in use - nearly lost it several times. Don't drop this bottle on dirty surfaces - everything clings to the silicon body until you can rinse it off.All in all, I was very glad I purchased this bottle. I'll be bringing it with me on my next trip!

While I'm at home I am always attached to my refillable water bottles but when I'm travelling it is more difficult to keep hydrated without going through dozens of plastic water bottles or constant trips to the faucet to refill small cups. I've used the basic plastic versions of this and they work well as an emergency backup to keep in my bag, but I wanted something that may hold up a bit better. I found this collapsible water bottle and it looked like it would fit the bill nicely.Pros:Great size - The bpa free water bottle will hold plenty of water and ice to keep from having to constantly refill.Three-layer leak-proof protection -At first I figured this wasn't important until I accidentally knocked the bottle over on to my laptop and no water spilled out!Freestanding - full or empty this collapsible water bottle will stand on it's own with no issues.There are, however, a few negatives:Folding -The refillable water bottles DOES fold up which reduces its size significantly, but it compacts much less than the other plastic fold up bottles. The strap that you use to hold the roll can be tricky to attach to the post.Temperature Maintenance - this bpa free water bottle doesn't keep water/ice as cold as my Yeti tumbler, but about the only thing that matches The collapsible water bottle is a refrigerator.The refillable water bottles does an adequate job for my needs.The cons on this collapsible water bottle are minor issues and I'm super happy with this collapsible water bottle.The bpa free water bottle performs the duties I have asked of it easily - hold water and ice and pack up to fit easily in a small bag. The refillable water bottles is not perfect, but the bpa free water bottle is better than any of the other collapsible bottles I've used

I got the bottle for a trip to NY City. With two kids we went through water like crazy in the past and my metal bottles were too heavy. This was great!Pros: Light weight, fit in my bag or hanging on the side with an added carabiner. Easy to clean, easy to use. Cons: Doesn’t keep water cold (this isn’t a deal breaker for me though), it sweats so you have to be ok with water coming off it if you add cold water.Our Metal “lock” broke today. We typically use the heck out of this bottle in the summer. Once we are back to school we return to our metal bottles. So a two year run without any breaks I’m really happy. We did Learn that a good thorough cleaning is needed (duh). We did four days of continual use then left it a day in the car and had some growth. Did a baking soda/hot water scrub and we were good to go. Came in here to order another one since the kids are getting old and drinking more so one doesn’t cut it!

I would give ten stars if could! I love these collapsible travel water bottle!!Screw off cap and the bottles inflate on their own with Press the intake valve; replace cap and the silicone water bottle stand up on their own. Easy to roll back up for carrying/storage. Light weight. No odors.I'm guessing the people who have experienced bottle not standing up when not completely full do not let the air refill into the bottle after taking a drink. That seems to balance it out perfectly. The drinking spout is like a "straw" shape/size with screen that will allow you to infuse water with fruit (or use ice) easily, as you please. If you squeeze the bottle when you take a drink, you should let the bottle refill with air to maintain the bottle shape (and not be like a toothpaste tube!) before you close the flip-top.Consider these for traveling! You can carry small and lightweight then fill with water from fountains or taps or at restaurants. It's also nice to fill them when heading out (and not have to carry back larger empty bottles or create waste/expense buying water bottles.) It is always difficult when traveling to make sure that you have enough water and conveniently around. Refill and drink 3 times each day and you have almost your entire water intake need met for the day!I am happy and hope that if you buy these silicone water bottle, you will be happy, too.
