Kills moss
It's zinc sulfate. Can't ask for anything more from zinc sulfate than that it be zinc sulfate. It does, in fact, kill moss. Earthworks Health seems to have the best price out there, when freight is included. The material comes as small prills which are convenient to handle.

When you live in the Pacific northwest you need all the moss killer you can get. I have put Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate on my roof for years. I have found that I need to put on 25lbs every year to preclude moss problems.
