Brooks Women's Cascadia 15 Trail Running Shoe

I am 49yrs old, 6'4", 330# w/ 14w feet - so a big guy for sure. I have very high arches and resultantly achy feet. I have been searching my entire life to find comfortable shoes that actually fit my feet.The search was recently renewed upon a visit to the pediatrist who after an x-ray said, "wow, that's the biggest bone spur I have ever seen". That statement does not lift your spirits at all. So he gave me a cortisone shot (which was painful but awesome) and an arch support to wear. The arch support was okay, but still pain after long days.So back to the shoe review. I spent many hours searching for "high arch shoe" reviews on youtube. Several brands came up, but Brooks Ghost 13 just seemed to keep coming back to me. So the Amazon reviews were good and I decided to try it out. Came in within a couple days. Stuck them on the first time and it was "oh my" they fit and feel great! It was like stepping into a cloud. Next day at work was very active - probably 5hrs of straight walking and standing without a break. Then it dawned on me that my feet did not hurt. This was like first time with no pain in years - literally. I have had them going on a week now and I actually find myself wanting to run and I have no idea why. Must be the pedigree of the shoes. Time will tell how they hold up, but for now life is good again.Pros:The foot beds are wide for my oversized feet!The insole material is very nice and padded but still supportive - perfect combo!The high arch support actually supports my big arch.The padded heel cup lands your heel perfectly and softly.The outer mesh is very breathable and cool - great for summer.Cons:The tongue material is very soft and limber which makes it more difficult to slip on - which is my normal way. Now must tie them daily - which I should do anyway - I guess.No pull tab at heel to pull them on.Mesh outers - I suspect they will snag and tear easily - not confirmed but suspected.Breathable mesh outers - may be cold on feet in winter - again a suspicion not confirmed.

Love these shoes, that are comfort and wear very well. Shoe size fits like it says.

I have narrow feet but need a wide toe box or my toes go numb while running. Brooks is always my go-to running shoe these are so comfortable and have good support. I love them!

I bought these for my daughter who is very active in sports. She runs and plays tennis daily so they are very versatile. These shoes have been great. They are light weight and support her feet well. The color is a light blue which does show stains.

As a nurse working 12+ hour shifts, good support is key. I can’t tell you the number of sneakers I’ve purchased that ended up going back to the store. I saw a review of these sneakers and decided to give them a try. They’re a bit more money then I typically would pay but I figured that if they’re that good, it’ll be worth it.For the most part I’m very happy with these sneakers. The fit is good, if you’re someone that can be in between sizes, go with the one you buy the most. I found that there’s room in the toe box to give you a little leeway. They’re very light weight and have good padding and support. I like the style and have gotten compliments on the sneakers almost everyday I’ve worn them.The only issue for me is that I tend to pronate a bit on one foot as that arch is collapsing and these shoes can irritate that area a bit after a long day. I took a look at Brooks website and it seems as though these shoes are best for neutral walkers or people that supinate (foot rolls outwards). They have another pair that’s better for people that pronate and I might give them a try for work and just keep these shoes as everyday shoes instead.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second pair! I absolutely love the support and cushion this provides to my feet. My feet do not hurt if I wear these all day and I love them for walks.They are durable for the outdoors and they wash up nice. They are lightweight and so comfortable.

I’ve been searching for all-purpose comfortable sneakers for a long time. I’ve bought and returned more styles than I care to admit. As soon as I put these on, I knew I’d found the ones. They’re cushioned, lightweight, supportive, don’t rub anywhere, no seams to chafe, nice looking, just perfect. I’ve worn them to the gym and walking the dogs and have logged quite a few miles on them. I don’t have “problem” feet, but they are sensitive - they are easily rubbed raw and sometimes prone to blisters, but these Ghost 13s have given me happy feet. They are expensive, but the comfort is well worth it, and I will buy another pair when these need replacing. I usually wear a size 9 in street shoes, but the 9-1/2 in these is just right. They are wide enough in the toe box so that my toes aren’t cramped. I like these sneakers so much that I bought a pair for my sister, who texted me that they’re the most comfortable sneakers ever. He comprado varios tenis Brooks y hacer caminadora sentía mucha molestia en mi cuello y hombros , compré estos para probar y me salieron buenísimos no siento el impacto y ninguna molestia los recomiendo muchísimo para caminadora

Son muy cómodos y duraderos. Buenos para caminar y caminar y caminar. Se lavan fácilmente. Son ligeros y están muy bien fabricados

Son buenos, aunque para mi un poco toscos, he tenido otros Brooks que se ven mas femeninos

The media could not be loaded. The shoes have torn within 6 months of use. It is not something a customer would expect after paying this much for a shoe.

The shoes came very quickly and are excellent quality! Very comfortable, no time needed to wear them in! Love them and will definitely order another pair!
