Kaytee Supreme Cockatiel Food 25 lb

I ordered this for my sun conure who eats Kaytee and handmade brown rice, mixed vegetable, and extra dark green leafies. Also, little tastes of things I eat. Went to the vet two days ago and the vet said, "He's in perfect shape. Exactly where he should be on weight, organs feel good, no stress bars on his feathers, and the papillae on the roof of his mouth look healthy. Just keep doing whatever you're doing!" Poppy's twenty years old, soon to be twenty-one.

I’ve been buying this for my birds for a while now. The price is good. My birds enjoy it. I have one who is very picky and this is one of two brands he will eat. I also feed my birds fresh vegetables and some fruits, so it is not their only source of nutrition. I will keep buying as long as the price is right. I store it in containers once I open the bag.

You won't find a better deal anywhere for quality birb food! I have 5 parrotlets and 1 Quaker and I won't have to re-order ANY time soon and my feathered babies love the cockatiel supreme Miz!! It does come Inna plain white reinforced bag which is fine by me. This same exact bird food is only 20 lbs at Petco for the same price as this 25 lb bag delivered to your door from Amazon!! I have 3 Cockatiels (Phoenix, Athena, and Andromeda). As you imagine having more than 1 mid-size bird means they eat a lot. So it's important that I buy in builk (with reasonable price) and that the food will be healthy for them. I've settled with Kaytee's 25lb bag as its not filled with fillers (the junk that looks like dry cat food that others seem to add, but no bird eats) and though it does have some sunflower seeds, they're not the majority (which would lead to overweight birds). Finally, the average price of $25 is very reasonable for 25lbs (average $1 per pound).

Just put into several gallon sized zip locks. Put them into the freezer for minimum of three days to kill any moth larvae before taking it out to use. A nice mix of seed and some pellets. I use this in addition to a fresh mix of fruit and vegetables DAILY. I use this in addition to other seeds that I mix in, but this is a great base or to use with other seeds or in a pinch with out the other seed mixture, but I always offer the fresh food as well. I raise cockatiels, green cheek Conures, as well as Parrotlets. All of them enjoy this mix.

I didn't realize how much food I was receiving. I got 2 huge bag for the same price of I pay for a small container of food in a store. It is well worth the money. I won't need food again for years.

This seems to be the best priced food for my cockatiel. You get the same product in a 5lb. Bag at the same price best price on the market.

this 1 star is purely for attention garbing! sorry Kaytee! blame amazon for this one. the product is great. however the scalping is not. the first time i purchased this product it was ~$28 for 25lb. second time it was about $10 more. fine. price fluxuations/covid i get it. and now its up to $108 from a non-prime retailer NOPE! i draw the line at $2/lb if you enjoyed the prices this is SUPPOSED to be at than buy it directly from petco for much more reasonable rates! i just bought another 2 bags from them for $28 a pop though be it only 20lb and not the 25lb. ($1.40 lb) which is more than fair! don't pay scalper prices do some searching!free tip! keep your seed in a 5 gal bucket with proper seal and a LARGE desiccant pack to keep it dehydrated and oxygen free. kills any larva/eggs in it and keeps it fresh!
