Your next fantasy romance read!
4.5⭐️I have had such a weird relationship with fantasy books recently! But this book really helped me fall back in love with the genre 🤩Zarrah and Keris’ relationship was a perfect enemies to lovers/star crossed lovers story! I adored the trust they built for each other, despite all the obstacles thrown in their way. I felt like my heart rhythm was really being tested in this book 😥Keris is absolutely swoon worthy, with some of the lines he had in this book!! I love a feisty and strong FMC and Zarrah absolutely delivered. I really admired Keris for him not being ashamed about fitting into the mold his father is forcing him into.I really enjoyed jumping back into the Bridge Kingdom universe and familiarising myself with the fantastic world Danielle has created. It’s such a unique universe and Danielle’s writing perfectly described and helped me imagine it all.I have to warn you, it does end on a cliff hanger 🙃 I do question my sanity with the amount of books currently waiting on a cliff hanger, but cannot wait for the next book!!*𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬*𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞: Fantasy Romance𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬: Forbidden romance, enemies to lovers, dual POV, world building, cliffhanger

A little bit weaker book than the first two.
A little bit weaker book than the first two in the series, but quite exciting and interesting to follow Keris's and Zarrah's love story and adventures.

Good book but ridiculously priced.
The other books in this series were £4.99 on kindle - this one is listed at £9.99 and never goes lower. Many more series/ books that are more popular at the moment are even cheaper. The book is brilliant but don't really appreciate the price gauging to read further in a series?

YA Fantasy at its best!
If you like sound and compelling YA fantasy look no further (unless you are set on magic)!I often think that it is much harder to write convincing plots for YA Fantasies that don’t involve (much) magic, because magic can explain away or overcome situations that are difficult to convincingly tackle without ‘magical help’ (though I have read many that are ludicrous and unconvincing even with the extra help provided by magic!). Magic can also make characters seem more interesting and important than they actually are (if you stripped them of their magic). The author has to be far more creative in their non-magical plot planning and and character creation, and Danielle L Jensen manages to do just that.I thoroughly enjoyed the Bridge Kingdom and Dark Shores series so far and can’t wait for the next books. I love the characters: They have depths, are conflicted, sometimes I dislike them, but they are never boring or incongruent – the latter being a common phenomenon in YA Fantasy, I have noticed, often making it hard to relate to characters. Not with Danielle L Jensen, however. Excellent story telling, great characters. One of the best YA Fantasy writers I have read.

I never want to leave this world!
I just re-read this on my kindle after listening to the audiobook. Every bit as good! I can’t make up my mind if I like this better than the Bridge Kingdom. Maybe a bit more. I absolutely loved Keris as a MMC. And loved the court intrigue and scheming. I can’t wait for the next one!

Best ever from the series or even from the author
The story is gripping, The erotic scenes are hot! Where I liked the first 2 books, the third installment was a revelation. Its for an impossible love affair but Keris is the sweetest ever. The fact that he is intelligent and not entirely helpless is endearing. I love that Keris and Zarrah are both not perfect but they are perfect for each other. I love the political drama, the action, the love story! Thank you!!! Great read

I cannot rave enough about the Bridge Kingdom series. I love the characters, I love the world, I love it all. This book was so interesting, it felt like we were going back in time a bit, to watch what happened from a different perspective, from somebody else's perspective. All this has done is make me antsy for the next book to come out!!!
