This is a great idea for small spaces where the light from one bulb produces all the illumination you need. The motion sensor is very sensitive and causes the light to quickly illuminate with only a minor amount of motion. That's great for places like over a door. However if you need to illuminate a bigger area that needs multiple bulbs like the interior of a garage then these bulbs wont work- the daylight sensor will keep the light from illuminating more than one of the lights.update 1/15/18I bought this bulb to use in a garage that has additional lights before realizing the dusk to dawn feature would prevent it from working unless it was the first light to activate. We'd hoped it would resolve with time, but that hasn't happened. I'm unsure if this is supposed to be some sort of hidden benefit or just more low quality Red China quality control, but I'd recommend skipping this product unless you want this kind of annoyance.

This is a waste of money. Sometimes it goes on and off with no apparent movement, other times I have to be 3 feet away and waving my arms for it to come on. The description states that there is no flicker but mine flickered constantly.

This did its job in that it would turn on at night if it sees motion, but the sensor is so good it would still detect motion through the walls and turn on if I was anywhere within 10 feet of it (meaning often, if I was in my kitchen or bedroom). If you want something that can see any motion, however, I would totally recommend it the radar works!

If you need a light which will show what's more than 6 - 8 feet out, this is not the one for you.After just three months, the light has dimmed considerably and flickers as if it is about to go out.It has never responded to motion, even though it is turned on (standby) and should light up if someone or something such as deer or other animals walk within its area.I've had other motion sensor lights out there and they turned on when a branch moved in the wind.

We have nothing but GREAT things to say about the Motion Sensor Light Bulbs, they are incredible! The motion bulbs work well to expose anything moving around our home at night to alert us via an our outside security cameras and iPhone. I cannot think of a more economical security measure to use not to mention that they are durable and very reliable, we're very impressed and happy we bought them.

Dude, I bought this for my laundry room so my jackwagon brother who leaves the light on all the time would be dealt with. I turn the light on, close the door, it stays on......all night. Isn't it supposed to detect motion, darkness, turn off due to inactivity or something so it....you know.........TURNS OFF?! Which is the whole point of the "motion sensor" in the product description. Perhaps I'm failing the IQ test. Anyone?Such a bummer.

I think this works too good at times. It will pick up motion while behind our door. Spooks the dog whenever she goes to the kitchen for water believing someone is about to come through it. Otherwise, it is very active and more reliable than the motion dectector that was there before.
