Solid Dumbbells with Minor Flaws
First and foremost, these are overall pretty good adjustable dumbbells and I don't regret the purchase at all - for the price, money well spent. As for the good and the bad, it's pretty simple. The good: Very solid, perfectly knurled grip, feels durable, and good size overall. The bad: 1) The collars constantly come loose - even with the included rubber rings/washers. I mean constantly. To get through one exercise of 4-5 sets, I'll have to re-tighten them at least twice or more. And if you tighten them too tight, you'll risk destroying the rubber rings/washers. Which is partly due to number 2) The threaded part of the handle is honestly a little bit too small in diameter. Its smaller size allows for the standard weights (with 1" hole) to wiggle all over the place until tightened. And as mentioned, since the threaded part is too small in diameter, if you tighten too much too secure the wobbly weight plates, then the rubber ring/washer will just be forcibly squeezed and misshapen in to the space between the weight plate and the threaded handle. This also will cause the plates to sit crooked on the handle. So you can only tighten so much, but then you're back to problem #1, having to re-tighten regularly. But, having said that, they're still really good adjustable dumbbells for the price. The looseness isn't a safety issue--the plates won't fall off onto your face or toes or anything--and the regular need to re-tighten mid-set is a minor inconvenience. Yes, I could have bought the fancy perfect adjustable dumbbells for 200+ bux, but these are more than sufficient and a solid purchase at less than a tenth of that ... for now. I may upgrade one day. But as it is, I definitely recommend these for an inexpensive, yet fairly decent adjustable dumbbell set so long as you don't mind the two minor shortcomings.

Good on Sale - Small Gash on One Plate
Picked up the 20lb pair(40lb total) for ~$55.Dumbbells have a nice texture and are sturdy. Handles by themselves weigh 4lbs each.Plates are coated nicely and are smooth feeling. One of the 3lb plates has a small gash the size of a dime. Not a big deal at all to me and I don't really care, just mentioning in case others care with how they may be received.I picked these up to start a small home gym for my wife and myself. 20lbs total is more than enough for me and having them be adjustable is great for my wife that may only want two 3lb plates on each dumbbell or no plates at all.Weight distribution is a bit weird with having the dumbbells be 4lbs each and then giving 3lb and 5lb plates. So you're either stuck with; 2x4lbs, 2x10lbs, 2x14lbs, or 2x20lbs configurations if you want them to be matching.Overall I'm happy with the price I was able to get them at.

Nice dumbbells
They are great. My son likes them. Arrived on time. Feels very secure with the locking nut so weight doesn’t move while lifting. I do recommend these.

Overall great value
Whenever I lift with these, I find that whichever one is on my left hand keeps coming loose. It has something to do with the weight's rotating while I lift and it's kind of annoying. That being said, they're pretty solid quality all around. I wish that the handles maybe had a different knurling to them because I got blisters with them but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Sturdy, but they leave behind a silver residue the first few uses.
The paint o the handles wore off on my skin the first few months. Be sure to clean the handles thoroughly. There's also cancer warnings on the weights, so be aware.

good starter dumbell set
This is such a nice small set to start with up to 30lbs each means it is good for arms and shoulders, and even flies. Nice too is that you can just buy larger or more plates later when you need more weight, very flexible

They are dumbells pretty simple..
These work well. The collars do become loose with use and require constant re-tighteningRubber O-Ring is already showing wear and I'm sure that I will be seeking replacements soon.
