Finishes the screen perfectly
My projector screen is a DIY, dual layer black/white spandex stretched over a home made wood frame, which is totally the way to go for an acoustically transparent (AT) screen. This black felt tape finished the screen perfectly. The adhesive is sticky enough to stay on (have had it up for months now), but not so sticky that you cannot pull and adjust for slight mounting error when first setting up. It leaves no residue that I could see.Visually, it is very black, and it does a great job absorbing the light on the edges of my projector field of view to where they are hardly noticeable. You'd really have to look hard to see it. I have had viewers ask me how I was able to match the projection edge to edge on the screen so perfectly. And the secret is, I didn't. You just can't see the slight overhang because of this excellent bit of felt tape.

High quality, great look
This material worked great. The adhesive was so good on the raw wood frame I made I have no worries about it ever coming off. I did have a problem with my first roll as it seemed to have a bubble in the way it was rolled from the factory. They took care of this right away but it was not till after I had already put it down.Great product and even better customer service. Thank you so much for going out of the way to help me out. My project is complete now and looking awesome!

What an amazing different with HD paint and border
The photos shown are after the paint and border, before the paint with just the primer and before anything with image on blank Sheetrock wall. The difference is significant. We used the 4” felt border along with the HD paint sold by the same seller. It completed the project and stops the picture from bleeding over onto the wall.First of all, who knew paint could be created that would project an HD picture!! After just installing new sheet rock, taping the seams, joint compound on the seams and getting the wall completely flat, the hubby painted the wall with primer. We then awaited the arrival of this “miracle” paint. For a few days we watched our projector on a primer painted wall and wondered how the picture could possibly improve with “HD” paint. What a shock after the paint was applied. We now have a 135” diagonal hdtv with crystal clear picture. Everyone that sees it thinks we installed a projector screen.Follow the included directions precisely. Do not skip anything. Make sure your wall is perfectly flat by sanding it or applying texture to flatten it. Just make sure there are no lumps, bumps or dips. Stir the paint with a metal paddle on a drill. (I believe this is where people have gone wrong that are giving bad reviews.) Paint in one direction ONLY.

Looks good, but came on a roll with a crease in it
I framed a very large screen, 160". The border looks good, but the roll came with a "bubble" or small fold on the roll appearing on each turn for about 12 feet of the tape. The crease made a mark every couple of feet or so. I can see it but not sure others will notice. Other than that, it's a great finishing touch with a small amount of effort. Saved me a lot of time building a frame that I did not need to make by using this tape.

Great product!
Works great. I had something wrong with my tv screen . It started to develop dead pixels on the top of the screen by the border. I cut the tape out the right shape and was able to cover. The bad Area. It sticks great it’s about in the middle not to strong not to weak ! Saved me a lot of money in repairs. A great product for screens !

Horrible seams - not a continuous length
I got the 3" width previously and it was fine, but we needed some more to finish the project, and this roll was a disaster. They spliced sections together, and not only is the splice material not the same as the felt, but the "grain" of the other section of elt is going the other way, so it catches light differently.I needed (4) 7' lengths for some panels, and was only able to salvage 1 length that didn't have a seam! Totally wasted my money.

Worth as Advertised!
Really a good product to buy. I have recently created home theater in my basement with wall as screen, measuring 156" (13') diagonally. I have purchased very chip wood strip from homedepot and stick this tape directly to bare wood. Glue is really sticky and firm. After creating boarder around screen, picture appears much better to eyes. As advertised tape is super black which gives really high contrast. I would definitely recommend this product.

From nothing to something with a Border
Big movie lover here but not much money for a complete home theater in home experience. I ordered a screen and a benq 4k projector from amazon and hooked it all up to a xbox which is linked to a plex account. BUT... the picture would not offer the proper size and resolution despite numerous tries. I came across this tape, did some measuring and took a chance...and WHOA what a big difference , I know that is not exactly what the tape was advertised for, but I made it work. The tape is very adhesive so be careful when installing.
