Leaking, 11yr old didnt like it
I bought this for my 11yr old, she is a tiny 11yr old but face normal i suppose haha. Measured like i found on this, spot on, bought correct measurments. I got so much problem finding a decent pair of googles or snorkel, so really thought this is perfect, zoom or view, its ugly, no two ways about that haha. I really wanted her to like it. I asked her to test it in the bath before holiday to make sure, she was Soooo excited.......Well that wore off, whats wrong, water is coming in. Oh probably Mummys fault, we try again tomorrow and Mummy will put it tighter. Yes she was well up for that, put it as tight as you can, not easy to get on though, and a bit panicky kind off actually.I contemplated buying one for myself, but i personally could not have this on, unlike a normal snorkel where you just take a breath when you come up to the surface. This if something god forbid goes wrong...I attempted surfing in Bali when i was younger 20yrs ago, but still to this day can remember the feeling and panic. It was bad waves etc, i always been a strong swimmer, but then i was literally swimming for my life as every time i tried to get air another wave came rolling. The point is, the feeling of not being able to get a proper breath of air, feeling of suffocating if you want. Obviously I am okay, I never surfed again though haha, I am not scared off water though, this is just to illustrate. This mask is not easy to get off in a hurry, and with children or anyone, but children, God forbid they are swimming out, and hit their head or something, getting up to the surface not being able to breath. An adult probably would be able to tear it off. But a child in panic would not, they have not developed that sense/skill yet, depending on age etc. But inan emergency even adults dont think clearly. This is obviously worst case scenario, but as a parent, scary. It could be the difference between life or death....Or scared of water swimming for the rest of their lives.I think, I read some reviews and bought it based on that. All children are different, I think in shallow water properly getting used to it maybe. But what if they somehow gets out to deep. Not going in to the part, that the parent should be looking obviously, just worst case scenarios where this could be potentially dangerous. This is thoughts I had now. I tried it on and I got that panic not being able to breath feeling and the valve is meant to open when you come up to the surface, so many things could go wrong.I tightened it for my daughter, I literally had to tighten it so it was not comfortable at all.And still had a little bit of water coming in. And it fogged up as well......So that defines the purpose of this. She nearly panicked as she could not get it off herself and I had to help. Thats not good, although you are there all the time on holiday. If children got problem getting it off by themselves then its a no go.I tried it on and I really wanted to like it, saw myself taking underwater photos snorkelling away. Think like a massive suction cup around your entire face, thats what you need for no water to come in and secure it. My daughter had a massive ring around her face from the suction if you want. And I looked ridicolous. Well then you have to wonder, is that good, is that somehow stopping circulation or something. My Daughter didnt want it, send it back Mum.Well maybe it depends on the shape of the face as well, and boys with shorther hair might get it off easier. My daughter with long hair didnt like it and found it hard to get off.And if you are use to snorkelling might be a factor, my daughter spends more time under the water normally, so I thought this would be a perfect fit/solution.Bath tub versus if you are going on holiday at the seaside or waves, where the valve opens as its not fully under water, but waves coming over, the valve would be open and let in water, or shut and not being able to breathe.Im covering worst case scenarios to give it a different perspective view. This is how I think and how my daughter felt. But all children are different.Another part of me thinks. Well, its not a ground breaking invention really, like someone in the world had an epiphany and came up with the idea, lets invent a full face snorkel. It must be a reason that professional snorkellers, deep diving all over the world etc. Withouth an oxygen tube.Surely it has been thought of, and decided against for some reason as you dont see a single diver, or professional snorkeller wearing this. It must be a reason that they all still wear old fashion over the eye and nose or without nose covered, but even without oxygen tube, not wearing full shield/face covering. Its so many things that potentially could go wrong here I think. Oh im only finding negatives haha. But if your child likes it and feel comfortable, and you are just going to be in a pool, it could be good fully supervised.I do advice that you test it out first at home if you can.Make sure it doesnt leak and also that it doesnt fog up, as if it does its pretty useless. I think you can get antifog solution somewhere though. Never tried, saw on youtube once.

Absolutely brilliant!
I wasn't expecting much from a full face snorkel that cost £15 to be honest, but I thought id give it a go. It was so great! Fit perfectly, didn't let any water in & allowed me to stay in the sea longer ( I normally freak out as I don't know what I'm swimming near!)It even fit my 6 year old nephew with abit of strap tightening.Would definitely recommend!

Not for deeper diving
Good for swimming on the surface looking down and about, but no way to pinch nose for pressure on deeper diving. All in all good for the money 👍
