Love the Stone Ridge series!
I've truly enjoyed getting to know the folks of Stone Ridge, Texas. The trials, tribulations, and love that this community goes through. Some days, in the "real world", it seems so rare to see communities working together... so it's been refreshing to read how it should - and could - be. I especially like how Ms. Bell creates her intimate scenarios ... allowing the reader to use some of their own imagination, rather than having a play-by-play of every sexual encounter (as some contemporary romance novels appear to show an obligation to do - to almost duplicate scenes in multiple series). Can't wait for the next book in the Stone Ridge Novels!

one of the best Texas Cowboy series I’ve read!
Loved the characters and the drama. Ms. Bell really captured Texas cowboys and their qualities and characteristics truthfully. She must be from Texas!

What a second chance
Sometimes love shows up early…..sometimes it works and sometimes both need to do some growing up. This is a FABULOUS story of second chances….. 20 years later.

A second chance in Stone Ridge!
I have been reading the Men of Stone Ridge series since the beginning and Mr. Cowboy was another good addition to the series. Sean Henderson has been talked into doing a reality dating show set in Stone Ridge. He really didn't want to do it but his brother has written a large donation to Sean's charity of wild horse rescue into the contract so he figured he didn't have much to loose because he has always lost at love. Bonnie Lee was Sean's teen sweetheart but she had bigger dreams beyond Stone Ridge that led her to Hollywood. Now she is older, wiser and jaded. All that glitters truly isn't gold. So when an opportunity to act on the dating show being filmed in Stone Ridge is presented to Bonnie Lee she figures that she might as well take it. Sean will kick her off in the first round and then she can spend the time visiting her mother and beloved hometown. Well as you can guess these two have unfinished business but the real question is have they both grown enough maturity wise to make it work this time? Bonnie Lee and Sean were very relatable characters and really capture the reader. I enjoyed their second chance at love and it is always fun to revisit Stone Ridge. Mr. Cowboy stands alone however I do recommend reading the rest of the series. It was told from dual POV and was sweet with just a bit of heat.

Realistic story
Oh my what's the real reason behind getting on a reality TV show? The idea behind Mr. Cowboy is to bring women into town. What happens when the ex girlfriend is one of the contestants? Things get turned upside down. What a great way to bring realism to a story. I loved it.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sweethearts
I loved this story about Bonnie and Sean. They were childhood sweethearts that were reunited for a reality show. I enjoyed the flashbacks that showed their earlier relationship that helped explain how they ended up on this show in their hometown, year after their breakup. It was nice to see an older couple reuniting. I would definitely recommend this book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An older and wiser love
This is a second chance romance that happens in the middle of a reality show. Bonnie and Sean have a lot of history and their small hometown is where is began and where it could all end...again.The drama that unfolds between Bonnie and Sean during the taping of the show is what I would expect, from the competition, the hidden agendas, and the rekindling of first love, it is very entertaining. The awareness and understanding of what went wrong with their young love is vivid and emotional.I like the characters, their unusual reunion, their happy ending and the charming and well meaning town of Stone Ridge.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
