Not a one person job! Difficult to manage.
I’m updating this review because in-spite of the difficulty I had setting this up it worked wonderfully well at keeping the squirrels and mice out of the garden. I did have to get creative at the bottom adding things to make sure they couldn’t slip under but I did and the netting has held up well.Maybe it’s because I don’t have stakes to attach this to but it was close to impossible for me to lay over my vegetables. Squirrels were able to still eat the baby plants. I’ll try again but it’s not as easy as the description says.

Works for what I needed
The birds were picking out my new sprouts so I needed a way to keep them out. This net will serve that purpose but it feels a bit small. I don't think it stretches to 13 feet wide... probably around 10 feet at most. So I moved all my planters closer and hook the very edge to make it covered.

is the advertised size the size when it is fully stretched?
I feel like the 6*20ft size is when it is fully stretched by two person. In other word, you probably want to buy large one if you think what you need it 6*20. It won't be easy for one person to manage it either.

served its purpose
We grow gooseberries and blueberries and every year the birds and squirrels would beat us to them but not this year! We placed this net over 4 long stakes making a rectangle. The stakes were tall enough to place over the 3.5ft bushes. We used bricks and rocks to hold down the edges and moved them when we picked the berries. Everyday we’d watch birds land on top of the net trying to get to the berries. Every time we’d pick some they go nuts and squawk and caw. Occasionally a bird would get trapped inside, not sure how but we had to release at least 3. None were injured. We discovered a squirrel bit through a few places but this isn’t meant to keep rodents out so it was okay, was good enough for this year. Next year we’ll make a chicken wire enclosure, this purchase was for temporary protection. My advice would be don’t place this directly over your plants. The birds can still peck through and get to your plants. Throw this over some stakes so you have a good distance between the plant and the net. This will also help with the tangling problem.

A bit hard to use, and tears easily
I've used this to cover my garden while the plants are just getting started to shield them from my chickens going in and scratching up. It looks small at first glance but it stretches a lot and covers pretty wide area. It was a bit hard to stretch them out though. It worked ok for the first year, but when I pulled it out to use again this year they were tearing apart and could not be used again. It would have been nice if it was more sturdy.

Used on my raspberry bushes
Stapled this around the raised bed bottom of my raspberry bushes. Worked beautiful and not a bird or a chipmunk bothered my crop!

Buyer be warned
This seemed to work well. I never had an issue of my berries getting eaten. But the carnage was terrible. I didn't want to kill the birds, just keep off. My garden is not close to my house, so I don't see when a bird gets stuck right away. I think the webbing is too large. Maybe smaller would give the birds better odds. Also ripps quite easy, sometimes I'd come out and I think some animal came in the night and ripped a big hole? Weird. I don't recommend this product. Better to get the black square netting. Or better yet, the fine mosquito mesh. 👎🏼👎🏼

These work for deer (and birds)
I’m using this to protect my hibiscus plants from deer. It didn’t work with a single layer....the deer were able to eat leaves and stems that poked through. However, a double layer has been working well and I’ve had no issues for over 2 months. It would definitely work for birds because Ive had 2 birds get trapped in the nets and I had to rescue them - they were very entangled and would have died. To prevent that happening again, I remove the nets every morning and put them back every evening. The nets don’t tangle up much - they’re pretty easy to work with.
