Great views with this camera

very disappointing in compare what I had before.
This was considered as replacement from my Laview camera because the other one was vandalized. After one day of installing it and monitoring, I notices that every time when someone walks passed my camera the person passing by the picture is choppy and not smooth motion from my old camera. I'm not sure if the processor is crappy in compare from what I use to have but it definitely not the same grade. I don't think this camera if what I was looking for. I wouldn't recommend this camera.

Not Hikvision
Just received mine. "Hikvision" does not appear on the box, materials, or camera itself. Also, the box is brown (not red and white -- as Hikvision branded boxes typically are).The camera I received has a different physical base than my *8* other Hikvision branded DS-2CD2185FWD-I cameras. Thus, I doubt this is "Hikvision OEM".Also, it is not clear what "Hikvision OEM" means here. Hikvision sources their parts from dozens of other OEM (original equipment manufacturers).What is the claim here? Hikvision built identical cameras, using all of the same parts (but with a different base and god knows what's inside), then decided to not brand them, and not support them?

Review after a few weeks of use
While the picture of the box that says OEM is pretty misleading, the description actually says "Compatible as Hikvision". This is the only reason that I'm giving it 4 stars vs 5 as it can be a bit confusing/shady.I on the other hand new I was getting a knock-off and just wanted to try it out. After a few weeks, still running great and having zero issues. Sets up exactly like a "OEM" Hikvision would setup. Plugged it right into my Synology Surveillance station without a hitch. All and all, very happy. I'll update my review should it change 6 months down the road but right now all is good. It works just as good as my real Hikvision that I have installed elsewhere.
