Bluetooth Key, Phone, Anything Finder for Your Items with Replaceable Battery, Black

I really need a reminder if I forget my phone or ipad when I leave home. A tracker only tells you where to find it once it is lost or stolen - in other words too late. I need to prevent them getting lost or stolen or simply forgetting them, so the separator alarm was just what I was looking for. This separator alarm works great and is a reasonable enough price that i could afford to buy two. They have saved me many trips home from work because of forgetting one or the other and needing both for my work.There is one significant problem though: the false alarms and random disconnect alarms in the middle of meetings! To make matters worse: it is super LOUD AND GOES ON FOREVER. I just really wish I could select a softer alarm for a shorter alarm duration and JUST ONE BEEP. The shortest alarm choice is 3 seconds and I would only need one good beep. And understand the long 3 second alarm repeats itself FOUR times! Also there is not a separate volume button for the alarm and my phone ringer needs to be to the highest, so the alarm blasts everyone away for four repetitions of 3 loooooong seconds each! This is why I took one star off. I really hope this company comes back strong and uses these reviews to improve a future model. Will be watching for it and hoping!

Started off frustrated because I kept getting prompted for a code to connect the device. Tried 0000 and 1234 and both failed. Found nothing on the issue online so I sent an Email to [email protected] and got a reply within a few hours with the resolution.The key to getting it to connect is DO NOT use the normal Bluetooth connecting procedure. Open the app on your mobile device and connect it there. Even after connecting I couldn't get the disconnect alarm working on my phone until I went to my phone (Android) Settings then Device Maintenance then Battery and disabled the sleeping feature on the iTrackEasy app. I'm really not sure if it was that or the fact that I was no longer on my home WiFi network.This is my first day using it and so far it works perfectly. I have tested it 4 or 5 times and it worked each time. My only complaint is I wish I could set a shorter disconnect 'range' so I get alerted sooner. I would give the device 5 stars but took one away for the vague tiny print instructions and the frustration with the connection process and having to tweak settings to get it to work.*Edit - After a full day of use I did have 2 disconnect alarms when the device was within reach.*Edit2 - After several days of use this device is exactly what I wanted in that it would remind me when I'm out of touch with a device.

This is a very high quality product -- it is small, but has a powerful signal on the "fob" and on your smartphone. I've had one for about a year, and ordered another two a few days ago. They arrived two days later. The replaceable battery (they provide an extra one in the package) is a standard size, one you can always find. The fobs are smooth, don't take up much room on a keychain or with a car key, and slide easily in your pocket. (I've given some consideration to sticking one on my head, so that I don't need to tape my head to my neck when I can't find it.)

Love this item! I need it more to find my phone. It is very thin and I don’t even feel a difference on my keychain. Was easy to set up and is so easy to use to find my keys or my phone!

If looking for something in the same room or an adjoining room this is for you. If looking to track your luggage in an airport the Bluetooth technology in this product will not show you that your bag is at the airport until it comes out of the carousel door. You can see it then so this is worthless for luggage. For the price helpful around the house.

I like that the sound is loud and that you can change the battery. Now if it lasts that long I will be very happy! Don’t like that it is beeping every time I get away from phone or keys but I think I can probably change a setting and fix that. Only had about a week b

This thing can tap the lightest of surfaces and it pops apart- the battery coming out. When it's not acting a fool, it works very well.

Brilliant!! Bought this for my roommate, she's constantly losing her keys or phone. This will help you find either as long as you have one or the other...now, if you've lost both, your screwed. Lol

My dad was ALWAYS losing his keys and this present went over perfectly with him! Using the phone app, you can choose to put on an alarm if the phone and keys are a certain distance apart, where the notification will go, and even the ringtone that goes off as an alarm when looking for your keys. My dad's current favourite is 'Funky Town' and he has shown this off to nearly EVERYBODY who will listen. Definitely recommend this product!
