AMAZING DURABLE TOY FOR AGGRESSIVE CHEWERS
This style toy, especially the fox, has held up so much longer than any other soft chew toy with aggressive chewers. My dog really likes those soft toys to chew on. He seems so much calmer when he has those soft material chew toys but finding something that he won't tear up with in an hour. I plan to buy the others too so that I can change them out, making it like he has just gotten a new toy again. I highly recommend this fox chew toy for aggressive chewers like my dog.

Best Toys I've Found
I have a VERY strong chewer who can destroy almost anything in a matter of minutes. These Kong toys are the very best and this elephant completed her zoo lol I got her the fox when she was less than a year old and she's almost three now and he's still in great shape except his ears are a bit chewed up. Hippo and rabbit are both in excellent condition still and she's had those both for over a year. She likes to get packages from Amazon lol so I got her the elephant. She's already very thoroughly tested the durability of his ears and they held up. Now she is lying on top of him so I can't take him back lol Great dog toys at a great price- especially for as long as they last.

Dog still chews apart quickly.
Dog still chews apart quickly. I have a aggressive chewer and after reading comments of other people saying there dogs take awhile to chew this apart and to definitely buy, well my aggressive chewer had it to pieces in about 3 days

Holding its own with boxer puppy in the throws teething / chewing
Original review given on July 24, 2017Can I give it 10 stars? No? :(I have a 5.5 month old boxer puppy, Blossom, who is in the throws of that I'm-teething-so-I-chew-everything-until-it-dies stage. We would take Blossom to the store to pick out her own toys and she always seemed attached to the super soft "plush" toys. Hahaha! (*please hold as the reviewer is crying with laughter*) Yeah, those last about 2 min in our house, maybe 2 days, *IF* they are chew gaurd (read also "oober expensive"). She has no interest in the fire hose material toys, and while the traditional Kongs are great (and holding up), she only has interest in them when there is food inside. We needed to find a soft plushy toy that would withstand Blossom's need to tug (she would hold it down with her paws and yank up with her jaws) at her toys.Despite not having the squishy stuffed toy feel, this is soft and plush feeling in material (over the hard rope "skeleton"). We bought a bunny to see how it would last. 5 weeks later it barely showed any signs of any wear and tear. There were a couple .... runs (think a minor run in a pair of stockings) in the belly of the bunny, but absolutely no true rips. And when I say this poor bunny had been tugged and shaken and chewed and dragged all over the house, I mean ... well, I feel sorry for that poor bunny! We could even truly play tug of war with it because the rope skeleton gives stability. When we were gearing up for puppy's first road trip to my in-law's, I wanted to take bunny along, she is a bit of home. Rather than risking accidentally leaving *THE* toy 3.5 hours (and across 2 state lines) away, we went to pickup another. The old bunny has now moved to the country home with my in-laws, we now have a fresh bunny and a fox here at home. Came on to order the elephant and the hippo, because I can't find them locally!UPDATED July 31, 2017 TO ADD: The fox has been in our house about a week. He no longer has ears, we've dubbed him "Deaf Fox." However, the rest of him is in perfect condition, well, he's dirty, but in otherwise perfect condition. Bunny #2 (#1 moved in with my in-laws permanently) is dirty but otherwise still looks brand new. Image attached, can't get a picture without her gnawing on himI was seriously delayed in actually placing the order for the hippo / elephant (didn't order until yesterday), and they arrived today. They are absolutely ADORABLE! I'm going to hold off on actually giving them to her, just because well, I'd rather hold on to them until my 6 year old finds her next tooth (yes, I've been suckered into a doggie tooth fairy, it's ridiculous! haha!)Update #2 - August 6, 2017Bunny #2 and Deaf Fox still adorably holding their own with no signs of wear and tear besides slobbered dirtiness. (Is that a thing? Because I'm gonna make it a thing.)Elle the Elephant, "arrived" the other night via tooth fairy (Do. Not. Start. That. With. Your. Kids. The cuteness wears off quick!), and between yesterday and today her one ear is looking a bit ragged. I suspect she will also be deaf in a week. It seems that Blossom gets fixated on removing the floppy bits with out rope. This would be why normal plushy toys don't last. I've attached an image of all 3 floppy knots. All in all still extremely happy with these amazing toys!Update #3 - August 18, 2017Hey guys. Please beware. These toys will cause bruises when your pups shake the ever loving snot outta them anywhere near you! Those knots hurt! Why does Blossom seem to like to shake the bunny right next to me as a "Play with me mama" communication? OUCH! Beyond that, I've yet to find anything wrong with these amazing toys of love. Also, because I know you are just dying to know, Ellie the Elephant still has an ear and a half!1st image (Blossom with bunny) -- July 312nd image (bunny, elephant, fox) -- August 63rd image (elephant) -- August 18

Holds up even with 2 heavy chewers in my home
This toy holds up even with 2 heavy chewers in my house (a golden retriever and a Labrador retriever). We’ve had it for a few weeks now and it’s still completely intact even with a ton of playtime. Kong Knots are the best toys I’ve found yet for my dogs who love to try and destroy toys.

Great Toy- dog destroys it too quickly
My dog loves these guys. 45 pound Pit -whippet mix. I’ve bought three of these. Wish they were sturdier.

Hip Hippo!
My dogs love their new toy! It squeaks. They play tug together with it. It doesn’t have giant ears for them to chew off! We got the large size for my Shepard husky & Shepard retriever mixes (60-70 lb) medium chewer pups! No toy lasts forever but they love it so far!

Mr Foxy is a favorite at our house
Our dog LOVES Mr Foxy. Typically it only takes her a few hours to tear out the squeaker, maybe not even that long, so if you're looking for something indestructible, this isn't it! She then proceeds to tear him open and pull out the stuffing. But it's still usable for quite a long time. Even with no stuffing, he still has ropes in his arms and legs that she loves to play with and there are no pieces for us to worry about her choking on as long as we keep an eye on it and take out any loose stuffing or cut ropes when they get too shaggy. Even when Mr Foxy has NO ROPE left, and only a shell of a body, he is still a favorite.

Good size but not tough at all
It gets 2 stars because it has no stuffing which is a pain and they are a good size. But she destroyed them is less than 10mins. Insides out, rope exposed. So no where near as tough as expected, especially for the price and the brand would expect more.

We named him Hector.
Hector the Hippo. All former plush, rope, and anything resembling a stuffed animal had lasted a mere 3-7 minutes in my dear Toby's mouth. We thought Hector would be different. Heck, he lasted the first night with merely a missing ear and Toby began forming a real bond unlike any other toy that came before this loyal hippo. Hector came to bed, went outside in the snow, and was dragged around by Toby every second of the day. Until the unravelling began. First of the feet, then the hands. Quickly resembling long stringy fingers and toes or little mops. Then the day came, not but a few days after, when the dreaded moment arrived - white fluff appearing as a result of a puncture. I should have seen it coming. Plush toys don't stand a chance with Toby boy, and I thought Hector may be different. But I had to rip the shredded Hector from Toby's sad, sad mouth and distract him with cheese while I added Hector to the list of torn apart companions. Hector was Toby's best bud for those few days, and it broke my heart to end the friendship so suddenly. They say better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, but it was a tough goodbye to see and one Toby will probably never understand (cause he's a dog). R.I.P Hector. You'll never be replaced. Because I won't spend another $30 on you. 2/5 for the memories, leading to an inevitable destruction.

Sturdy and fun for my little husky boy
The media could not be loaded. My 8 week old husky loved it as soon as it was given to him. It is quite sturdy and he has not managed to rip it anywhere, but has been successful in puncturing one of the squeaking things. Luckily it has 2 of them and so he still plays/chews on it. He even takes it with him when he is put inside the crate during the night , which he sometimes uses as a pillow :) . Since he has approved of it, I have got him another one which is similar to the hippo, but is a fox instead. I am pleased with the quality and my puppy has definitely approved it too :) .Update : The second squeaky works too and was just a bit wet after a wash. My little boy still plays a lot with it and is quite possessive with his hippo and the foxy which is also another option in this line of toys. I am therefore changing it to a 5 star product 🙂

Don’t buy this one if your dog has teeth
Another poor product from Kong. This one lasted 5 minutes with my spaniel. As said in my other review all the toys he has are from Kong. The two I purchased for Xmas, were rated robust but unfortunately not. I would not recommend this product unless your dog has no teeth. Mines is a 3 year old working cocker with soft jaw. Had to remove both purchases after few minutes as he was getting to product stuffing.

Mixed feelings.
Kong is by far my favourite brand of dog toys. However, this lovely bunny stood no chance against my very destructive collie x! Very lucky that there isn't too much stuffing in the toy otherwise I would have had an evening of cleaning up fluff! A very lovely toy, very well made. Just need something a little more robust. Would be perfect for other dogs though!
