Strong construction, but flawed design and difficult to mount.
These are sturdy, strong construction. No doubt. But some design flaws that need to be mentioned and you need to know before buying.1. These are supposed to be standard Pic rail attachment and installation. As you can see from the pic, the sight does not fold down flat/flush when not in use. Tried many different positions, same problem. Is the issue the Pic Rail? Well, I guess you might have to try on yours to find out. I am pretty sure there's nothing wrong with my Pic rail and all the other Pic accessories have no issues--all except this sight system. So, I think the issue is on the sight itself.2. From the next photo you can see that when the aperture is deployed you cannot fold the sight down at all. You have to rotate the aperture (again) in order to fold down the sight (and that's assuming it will sit flush to begin with). This is a tactical error/flaw. I have seen many rear sight (MBUS) with this problem. When selecting one particular aperture (either the 0-200 or 300+ precision), it will not allow the MBUS to fold down flush. This is a no go for me in terms of tactical.3. The MBUS is a fraction of an inch taller. This is not too much of a problem except the fact that it is taller. This *may* (and I say may) block your MRDS or scope. A photo has been attached to show the difference--although minor, this particular product is just a bit "thicker" i.e. taller when sitting on the Pic rail. The photo is showing front sight folded down. Call it... 1/8" maybe 1/16" taller. Does not block my MRDS per se but I can see the difference when aiming through the MRDS. So it is perceivable. The good: Very, very strong, sturdy construction. The so-so: the mounting screw/bracket is a bit...wonky. Works, yes, once maneuvered into position. And no, I don't plan on install/uninstall the MBUS regularly. Just want to mention it.The bad: flaw in design concept. Rear will not sit flush against Pic rail when folding down, and will not fold at all when one of the aperture is selected (and must re-select in order to fold down--and will not sit flush regardless).Verdict: No Go.Hope this helps.

Bang for your buck
These iron sights are well worth the money. When most people want dot scopes or other similar sights, having a backup that does not require batteries is an essential. Two of my 5.56 have iron sights, the other is m4 handle and front sight, one of my 300 blk outs have iron sight backup. When you can easily spend twice as much per sight (front or rear) you get both at a very reasonable price.

Great Value!
Great price for an iron BUIS. Easy to mount. Only issue is the design of the rear peep sight. The short range/long range peep sight flip-flops back and forth. Should be secured in place with a detent. Primary sight is a Trijicon MRO which enables lower third co-witnessing with this BUIS. Looking forward to zeroing at a range.

ring flips from large to small while shooting.
This is a good sight except the ring tend to flip while shooting.I am trying to figure out how to tighten it.

Great Quality- Great Customer Service
I've tried a few different variants of flip up iron sights by big name companies and small, and these are by far my favorite. The big name brand Magpul sights are great but have two downsides- 1) Price ($90+ for a set of backup sights? Ouch!) and 2) Great customer service backing them up. The sights adjust well, hold zero, and the fit and finish on them is top notch. I just recently ordered some different equipment (not a pair of these sights) by the same company and received an item that was flawed. The flaw couldn't be detected with a visual inspection, it only showed up with use, so I wouldn't have expected them to catch it before it went out the door. Within five minutes of my email to them they responded, asking a follow up question. When they got their answer from me they responded immediately, shipping me a replacement product without expecting a return of their defective product. After another ten minutes, I had another email from them giving me a tracking number. That's just outstanding customer service, and I have recommended their products to friends. I'd say if you're looking to purchase a good product at a reasonable price point made by a company that understands what valuing their customers is, look no further.

Very Impressed
Very well made (Metal) back up sights. There is no spring assist when opening, IMO I prefer it that way spring assist sights are much more expensive and tend to self release at the most inopportune times. These are very easily adjusted to zero and windige. These are very similar sights that come with the Sig Virtus AR it's a 2k rifle and also no spring assist. There is a reason they are back up sights, unless you are just using the sights W/O optics, good news they have a great sight picture and the rear sight has transition prep holes for both long and CQ shooting. I was able to get 1 1/2in groups at 50yds. I only had access to a 50yd range, IMO I think they would still do well at 100+yes. To be honest I wasn't really sure what to expect because of the low price. That being said I am very impressed they are every bit as good as the back up sights that I have paid 5 or 6 times the amount for. These are great sights, great value and I will be buying more for future builds especially when brands like magpul are selling plastic rear sights for $79.Update this is my second set. OZARK you guys rock, another great purchase.

True iron sights and not made out of plastic
I gave these true Ironsides five out of five because they are actually made out of metal and not plastic and polymer. Installed super easy and took less than 5 minutes to zero in. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a set of backup iron sights for their AR and recommend them over any plastic set out there.
