Unsuitable for additional vehicle lighting, probably perfect for an allotment shed with solar charger
I bought this as an addition to my reversing lights hoping to get better spread from my lighting.I have three hand-held torches, a head-torch, and a bicycle light, all of these are far brighter than this Safego lamp. My old and well-used moon meteor bike light is a mere 200lumens and it out-shines this '600-700' lumens light by at least 190 lumens :-DI guess on reflection that I should see this is a very cheap lamp and should expect performance accordingly. These would be better suited to internal lighting for a garden shed/potting shed on a solar charger.I'd also like to mention that I had to paint a few areas on my new lamp as the finish is 'rough', expect a £13 light (to include seller overheads, P+P, packaging, seller VAT etc) and you won't be upset. I expect the profit margin on these is small for the seller so please don't see my comments as critical to purchase, other buyers are happy so maybe I'm just a snob. The light is cheap, and it shines a light.

Better then I expected.
I was skeptical about buying these lights to fit on to my BMW GS motorcycle as BMW versions are hundreds of pounds each. But I’d thought I’d give them a go so I brought 2.Once received and opened I was surprised. They look good quality. There made fully out of aluminium so there not cheap plastic. So a good solid product. Quite heavy as well which means there solid.Once fitted to my bike and first switch on they look fantastic. A nice modern white light and yes there very bright. Certainly gave me real shapes in my eyes so I’d avoid starring into them when there on.So for the money I’d definitely recommend these for your motorcycle or anything else you want to fit them to.

Good Value - Check the Screw though....
They're good lights, very bright & resilient. 2 wires, so easy to wire in any configuration. The wires are fairly short, but that wasn't a problem. I've got them mounted on my Motorcycle. One point - there is a screw that holds the body of the light to a bracket fixing (see photo) this vibrated out on my first ride, leaving the light hanging by the wire. I replaced the screw & slapped araldite all over the joint & screw to prevent a repeat - worth putting threadlock on or something similar in the future...

it makes a great lowish battery drain bright headlight and lighting system and ...
Used this as a replacement light for my giant 24 v electric bike - straight from the battery. Old halogen dynamo system had broken. So together with lorry side lights as rear lights, it makes a great lowish battery drain bright headlight and lighting system and slightly angled down, it doesn't dazzle other road users while giving a good beam ahead. Highly recommend for this application.

Not as advertised.
Definitely not a flood beam as its more of a spot beam with a visibly hot spot. I would also question 10W output as for 10W it's not very bright at all. My 3W Cree torch is brighter so this is going to be returned.
