Q: Bison is the only ingredient? No preservatives? How do you make bison a crunchy biscuit?

INGREDIENTS: 100% Bison (or whatever other "flavor" you buy; Made in USA); Whole cut, premium meats; No natural flavors; No fillers; No byproductsEven my neighbor's lab won't eat his previous, crappy Milk Bone biscuits now that he knows about these! They're not tough or crunchy like jerky or dog biscuits though. The word "jerky" makes it seem like it would be tough. The pieces are really large so I can easily snap the pieces into 3rds. Best way I can describe it's consistency/"toughness" is like a thick tortilla chip. Any of the versions you can buy from "Whole Jerky". As soon as bags arrive, I'll get back to you. Hope this helps.

It's truly just Bison so no added flavors.

Q: Does it need to be refridgerated

Does any jerky need to be refridgerated? Jerky is dried meat, cured meat, just store it in a zip locked bag or in a container and it will be fine. Dog treats don't last long enough in this household, as having a very active 110 lb Doberman will make quick work of any treat or snack!

Q: Do they make a good people snack? My dog didn't like them

Would not know. Never ate any. However, my dogs love it.
