If you don't know what this is used for in leather working, it is used to smooth all those high ponts and close the top cells of the leather. It give the product a more professional look. Good price unless you own a glass company and have access to tempered glass and an edge finisher. Alot of work and time. This is worth the price.

The edges are not evenly round enough, edges are not centered and it has corners that dig while smoothing, it’s a POS and a scam to get your money at best! Screw returning it I just won’t purchase from them again - EVER!

It seems to work as expected but I do not have any experience with a more expensive one.

This item arrived in a timely fashion and functions as advertised.

The product works great. I use it to get rid of the fuzziness on the leather to make holsters. This makes burnishing so easy.

It's a simple tool that does what it says it will do.

I really wanted a $60 Barry King Slicker but I couldn't justify the cost. This slicker is the same size, and more importantly, the same thickness as the Barry King and should perform equally as well. It doesn't come the the beautiful cocobolo grip but I made a similar grip from poplar and it works like a champ.Maybe someday I'll purchase a Barry King, but this will keep me going for the interim. For the $16 and a few minutes on the table saw and sander, I am a happy camper.

Perfect size. Rounded and thick.

Not cut very straight and edges have to be polished before you can use it.

this glass burnisher works really well.There was a slight ridge left where the edge had been ground , but a few minutes with a piece of fine wet and dry paper sorted it.5 Star piece of kit I've wanted one of these for years but they were always over priced( a well known leathercraft seller) so I never got one until now. Happy Days (I'm old with simple pleasures)

This slicker is ok, however the edges are not polished. Sanded and polished with wet sand paper until it was smooth.A little extra work at the factory would make it much better.
