WOW Nice knife
The Kiritsuke knife is really nice. The handle is OK and maybe not the best but the knife itself, slices meat like butter. I am no knife guy and don't know how the knife will be long term but it cut my pork roast like I was not even trying. I finally know what a really nice or chef quality knife is like. For home use, most people should be happy with this knife at least short term without spending hundreds. Long term, I can not say.

Unusable handle. Not worth even the sale price.
Purchased this knife based on decent ratings, but also because it was on sale. The wooden handle scales are too small and all three rivets along with the back piece stick out past the wood and have very sharp edges. The smaller handle is harder to hold for such a large knife and the rough rivets make it impossible to grip well. Ended up returning it and going with a different brand.
