Product is good and it was the fittings I needed for my dust collection system I was making for my mobile work bench. Pipe couplers and flex cuffs are not included to connect the blast gates to the pipe fittings. You have to purchase them seperately. I used short pieces of the 2 1/2" hose and the hose clamps to connect the fittings.

These gates are ok but not great. The actual gate just pulls straight out. There are little tabs that are supposed to catch the gate when you open it but I guess when the gates are closed most of the time the tabs lose their flex so don't catch. The gate just pulls right out and you have to guess where fully open is. The pipe fittings are ok but in future I'd just use PVC. You can Heat fittings and make your own adapters to connect to 2 ½" vac stuff.

the clamps cross over the hose baffles when they should jog over using a half loop... a bridge over the wire that makes the hose baffle.

This POWERTEC system is what I needed for my basic Dust extraction system in my shop. I am using only part of the kit, at the moment, but it makes life so easier.I have a dedicated line to my Miter saw and the other line is multi purpose, Table saw, Sander, Router, you get the picture.

I started to made a DIY dust collection system and these fitttings gave me a fast way to do. But, sometimes the blast gates simply disassembled when I was trying to open them. The kit is mainly a fast way but if you need something to deal with the every day use and for the long term, this kit is not the best answer.
