Q: How do I seal a painting when these are used for detail etc??

I have had good luck using a spray fixative for products like this.

Q: When water is added, is the color streaky? Can you still see lines of color after blending with brush?

When I have added water, the color is still rich; I have not experienced any streakiness. And, you may be able to see lines depending on how hard you are pushing on the pencil. If I want nice color, and don't want to have to worry about lines, I will scribble off a bunch of color onto a scrap and then use a wet paintbrush and grab the color I want to paint in the area. This works great! Otherwise, I have dipped the pencil into water before drawing and it will lay down a nice, thick and creamy line of color. I have enjoyed these pencils!
