Third one purchased. That should be an endorsement enough, but in case it isn't I love it, my kids love it, it's worth every penny.

This is an easy to use product that is perfect if you are going to be riding in taxis and want to confine your child safely. All of the cabs we rode in had shoulder and lap belts, which made this easy to install. I never had to use this in a cab with just a lap belt. Great investment!

Great product, it was just my luck the first time I used this product I was in my cousin's car and we were in an accident. The vest held my children very well and I am happy that I have them. The only thing I would suggest is make sure you have air condition because the vest holds heat across their chest and stomach.

My husband and son were flying to meet me while I was away on a business trip. We weren't getting a rental car, and if we needed transportation anywhere, we were going to be taking taxis. I wasn't sure how to manage a car seat, and then a friend told me about this item. It's small enough to fit in our backpack or diaper bag. My son thought it was reasonably comfortable. The biggest drawback is that small children can't see out of the window. I had a friend who is a car seat guru check it out, and she felt that it was very safe. Ours has a headrest that works well to support the head and neck too. I wouldn't use this for my everyday car seat, but it is a fantastic item to have for travel, especially if you'll be using taxis.

I bought this for my 5 year old boy for a trip to Hong Kong/Macau. He's on the small side for 5 years + 9 months and it fit him well with the waist strap pulled to the tightest setting. It was easy and quick to put on. It was easy to buckle in the taxi/car. It was light enough to carry in a backpack for day trips. I can't comment on the protection ability of the vest since luckily we were not in any accidents. But it helped position the shoulder and lap belts properly. I did not give it 5 stars because my boy didn't seem to like wearing it. He said it was uncomfortable and wanted it off right after getting out of the taxi.

We got this vest 3 years ago for a trip to NYC to use in cabs with my daughter. Best purchase ever! We still use it when we travel to avoid lugging around a big booster seat at the airport. We get comments on it all the time.When not traveling we keep it in the trunk of our car as an "extra booster" in case we have cousins or friends ride in our car.It's easy to use. It's easier to buckle the seat belt first and then slip the straps into the 3 metal brackets last. Great product!

So my family recently took a trip to Korea. We needed a car seat for our 2 year old and didn't want to lug around his big one - especially with us jumping in random taxis and such. After carefully reading reviews, we decided this Safe Traffic Systems vest was the best option.When we received it, I noticed first that it looked well built. I still don't understand exactly how this would work in an accident, but being as the government did approve it, it's got to meet certain minimum requirements. We put my son in it and noticed a little problem. He was 34 inches tall and weighed about 32 pounds at the time (which is basically the minimum size child that the company said this would fit), but it seemed rather big. We decided to put him in the car anyway to see how it looked. With the seatbelt secured across him, it was still a little big looking, but he did look fairly secure. I do like that you can use the anchors in a car to secure the child, but I was somewhat confident using just the seatbelt too.We didn't really have a choice to bring his regular car seat to Korea so we brought this. I really liked that it can fit in a small backpack on days that you're out exploring and can be set up in around a minute once you have a routine down. While I trust his regular car seat a whole lot more, I do think this gives some security and peace of mind. I just wouldn't recommend it to someone who's child isn't well within the manufactures size recommendations.

We tried this out yesterday with my son. He is 5 years old, 45lbs not sure about height but about average. He wore it fine and even fell asleep on the way home. I was pleased with the way the vest positioned the seat belt. He has currently been using a backless booster when traveling and this is so much better. The seat belt is in the perfect positon on his waist and shoulder at all times even when he fell asleep. He also found it comfortable enough to wear on the drive which was an hour each way.
