2.4G WiFi Battery Powered Portable Home Security Camera Live Feed, 180 Days Standby, PIR Motion Detection, SD/Cloud Storage, No Glow Night Vision and APP Alert, Wireless Indoor Surveillance Nanny Cam

My husband had purchased a micro cam that was a fail so I shopped and landed on this one. (In all fairness, he’s bought other multi-security cameras which have worked great.) However, hubby went totally low budget. I was willing to spend a bit more, but I was still budget minded. I’m pleasantly surprised, as other reviewers previously noted, how easy it was to set up and the quality of the image for the price. I’m curious about the longevity of the battery - if it will last as long as stated. One thing I like is that the app shows the battery life (see picture). I’m hopeful it will. If not, I’ll adjust my rating.

I am using the latest software update and firmware.Pro.1) I bought this because I like the idea of a camera that does not come accross as, "Hey, I'm a camera. Look at me." I wanted something more stealthy, and this does that.2) Uses same Ubox software as some surveillance cameras I have. So it is convenient in that area.3) Battery life is alright, but that's only because it stopped working.Cons:1) It uses Ubox. Ubox does not allow you to save individual videos. Example: Let's say, somebody broke into your home, and this camera recorded it, and you wanted to upload the file to send to insurance, po-leece, or whatever. In order to do that, (1) you have to remove the sd card, insert into card reader, and find the individual file. (2) Browse your phone's files through file manager, (time consuming) and then find which file it is. You can't rename the video for convenience either. All other videos, you have to follow the previous instructions.If you wish to delete individual videos but save some, haha, good luck with that one. You have to follow the previous instructions. Deleting the videos through the software deletes all of them, by 'reformatting' the entire card. Such a fail.2) Quality is mediocre at best. 1080p? What a joke. Night time, the video bit rate is barely over 200kbs. Lol. A one minute video takes up a whopping 2mb of space.Daytime video, the bit rate is a solid 470kbs a second. A 2 minute video takes up 10mb of space. If you don't know what this means, 2008 non HD youtube videos have better quality. Think of watching youtube videos at 240p resolution on a 55in tv. That's what this is like, They would have done better to stick with 720p and increase the video bit rate to at least 600kbs.Audio sounds like screeching.3) Slow to open up. Compared to my other cameras on the same Ubox software, takes several time longer to open up, just to change some of the settings. This can take around 8-10 seconds. My other cameras will open up in 2-3 seconds.4) Refer to picture... Motion detection trigger. What does that even mean? So, my outdoors surveillance cameras, on the high settings, if within Motion detection range, this can take 4-6 seconds to trigger. On this camera, it takes 12-15 seconds. On medium, my other cameras takes 20-30 seconds to trigger. I won't even try that on this one. On low, I have never been able to trigger it.5) After about one week, this no longer triggers. It doesn't matter how many times I restart the application. It will record only if I manually force it to, but of course, it only records those few seconds. It will still open up, and picture will show, and I can manually record at that moment, but only that moment.6) If this actually did work, and it live recorded a burglary in my house. If I press record, hoping to record longer, but then try to call law enforcement, the moment I leave the screen it stops recording. How convenient.My thoughts. Their are others that I am going to try. Ubox software is trash, and this is overpriced, and it is not worth getting.

The media could not be loaded.  I have bought other home security cameras, and like this one the best for several reasons.1. It only took a few minutes to unbox and set up this camera. There were great directions in a pamphlet in the box, including a QR code for the app and screen shots to walk me through the setup process.2. The resolution was very nice. The camera also did a nice job tracking movement.3. The camera stayed on and functioning after I unplugged and moved it to a new spot. There was no re-initialization and so forth. That is very nice.So, this home security camera is easy to setup and use and has great functionality. I really like it.

Camera works good and has a great quality pictures. Battery life does not last nearly as long as advertised. I have to charge at least once a month. And that is without any motion detection.

easy to setup to be honest people alway cry about the setup of cameras like this but they all set up the same 1 open app 2 pair to cameras 3 enter wifi info then done.The battery is good nice camera to use if you don't want cords just easy set and monitor I glued velcro on one and a magnet on the other to stick it away

The media could not be loaded.  Very small. Very good picture for its size. Great deal.

No manual or instructions. Disconnects all the time … didn’t record when motion sensor initiated…wow so difficult for such a simple tool.

So far a great product.
