It helps.
It does work somewhat to drown out my husband's snoring, but nothing can stop that altogether short of a freight train. The rain sound was pretty harsh and the thunder was disturbing. The breaking waves sound was not soothing either. But at least I was able to record another storm on it's Micro SD card. That was an awesome feature. I would recommend this to others still.

We've had this about 7 months now and are very pleased. We usually only use the 'white noise' sound. i haven't experienced any problems with hearing it loop or anything like others have. I'm a light sleeper so it really helps to have this. I like it's compact size since it's out on the dresser and the small size makes it easy to transport.

This is so nice. The sounds are awesome. I love the lullabies and ocean.I purchased another with just white noises and fan. Couldn't get into it. I like the traditional soothing sounds of music.
