Not even a month
I haven't had these in my possession for 30 days and they're already broke. Awesome. Used six, maybe, seven times. Last pair I had lasted me 4 years. Do better.

Works but not the best design
I used this for brake pads on a 2012 F150. The tool needs to open to almost max opening. A retaining screw will back out when opened this far. I tried greaseing the washer and locktighing the screw threads, but in hindsite I dont think that will work. Looks like the screw isn't really needed, just keeps the tool from seperating a full open, an can just be rethreaded back together. Next time I'll probably throw the screw out and just use it as it's, other wise it works better than my old one with the knurled knob.

Doesnt fit most brake pistons
I bought this device and had occasion to change the pads on my wife's Ford Fusion. It would NOT fit even in it's closed position, So I used another tool. This week I changed the pads on my Toyota Sienna, and it wouldn't work on either front OR rear pads. I ended up having to go to AutoZone and buying a tool which would work. The concept is good, but the tool Both won't close narrow enough, and secondly won't open far enough to fully compress the piston(s) Don't waste your money like I did.

Didnt go as planned
The rachet came apart and had to use the pad as leverage. The total extension although is not enough to compress in full the piston.

Just ok
Very cheaply made my opinion but that’s only my opinion
