Great Kids' Rooms Collection (Better Homes and Gardens Home)

I am a custom carpenter in Metro Detroit, and also have a couple kids of my own whose rooms I plan to redo, so I wanted an idea book for kids rooms. This book has a lot, and I mean a lot of great photos of kids rooms with a variety of great ideas. I had hoped to find more examples of playrooms, such as in basements, etc., but this book is approximately 95% bedrooms. The other drawback is that the overwhelming number of ideas are for infant and girls rooms. There are only a handfull of boys rooms featured. I was really hoping to find more ideas for my son's room, as well as additional options for my customers with boys. I would still recommend the book, and have drawn some great ideas from the content of this book.

I saw this book in Home Depot, but the price there was more than I wanted to spend. Amazon.com offered purchase options well within my budget. Great book! Great price! Great service from the vendor!

I love room idea books so when I saw this at a bookstore recently I snatched it up. It's one of the thicker books and I love that it focuses on more than just nurseries. Although there could have been more nurseries in the book if they did less bathrooms.So here's a run down of what I like about the book:1. The rooms are not all outdated unlike most books you still find at Lowe's or Home depot. This one has rooms that would still look awesome today.2. There are more than just bedrooms for instance ideas for study spaces.3. Some books tend to have the same ideas that tend to repeat themselves from book to book. This one doesn't alot of very creative rooms.What I can do without:1. Not enough time spent on nurseries and there could be alot more boy rooms since there seems to be alot more girl themes than boy themes.2. Too many bathrooms could have shortened that chapter in favor of more bedroom and study/playroom spaces.
