a company that stands behind its product.
summary - bought a set of the hooded flip up iron sights a while back received them in timely fashion , only issue out of the box is the rear sight aperture was hard to flip for the price I was more than willing to accept that as the sights were solid aluminum and held zero like a champ. 6 months later I'm at the range putting a beat down on some bad paper and the hinge pin holding the rear site together walks out and it hits me in the face ( no damage to me ) I contacted Dagger Defense personally from their website and explained my issue and even though my return window was up at Amazon ( 30 days ) the company had no issue and stood behind what they sell and sent me a new set with only 2 emails exchanged between us.SOLID COMPANY BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.

Very nice sight picture.
These sights install very easily and provide a great sight picture even on a shorter sight radius. I wish I could give these sights a 4.5 stars. I can't because the mechanism is very tight and hard to operate. You have to gun oil the buttons and attached shafts and work them many, many, many times in order to get the sights to work with reasonable thumb pressure.BE CAREFUL if you use a regular AR-15 style sight adjustment tool that has knurling on its shaft. This knurling WILL scrape up the open part of the hooded front sight. I found out the hard way and had to "touch-up" the sight after I sighted/zeroed-in the front sight. Also, you must "fool" around with the sight tool in order to get it to fit in to the 4 PRONG fitting on the front post. I placed a strand of black electrical tape around the shaft of the adjustment tool so this will not happen again.Generally, I was very pleased with the sights and they fit well on my "specialized weapon from Israel".

Great Value
Installed this on Wyndam Weaponry SRC .308. After installation I added a drop of oil to the front and rear sight and worked it in until both sight adjustments were smooth. Rear sight windage adjustment has positive clicks and had no trouble adjusting my front sight with a quality front sight adjustment tool. After the previous was completed, I visually adjusted the windage on the rear sight so it was pretty much in the middle and hit the range. I went two clicks to right and it was spot on. 57 rounds later it was still spot on and this is NOT a light recoiling rifle. For my older eyes, the double ghost ring effect of the rear peep combined with the fully hooded front works perfect for me and I used the smaller aperture rear peep. Great BUS for the money. Is it on par with a MI or Diamondhead? No, but for my use (backup and close range) it is perfect and I think you could get a lot less for a lot more.

MANUAL flip up design. If you like shrouded front, this is a good quality option
THE GOOD: Good, solid design. easy adjustment with AR sight tool. My AR tool (Ultimate Rifle Build) has knurling on the middle of the shaft. The hole in this Dagger Defense shroud was large enough to accomodate the tool with knurling. Another sight, GVN 45 degree with front shroud, would not allow adjustment with my AR tool because the shroud hole wasn't big enough. These Mounted tight. I am a big fan of the front shrouded sight. I can co-witness with my holographic mounted on the same rail.THE BAD: The detente on the front sight adjustment stuck in down position. A little Ballistol and a minute of messing with it and it pops up and down as expected. I like the way these look and work. They DO NOT POP UP AUTOMATICALLY! Just be aware, you have to press the button and manually flip these up. Not sure how much I care, personally. If you want spring loaded BUIS, don't get these.ADVICE: Overall, quality is very good. I would buy these again. These were the only shrouded "flip up" (Even if MANUALLY) BUIS I found.

Good, inexpensive,cool!,but not perfect
Good sights!. After owning these for many range trips now, I feel the need to eloborate. For starters, I don't like flip up sights. If you don't either, these might be your flip up option. Second , I hate a2 style sights. What I do like is they do not have the automatic spring loaded ,push button feature. Yes, I like that fact...less moving parts means better durability and zeros. These would be the perfect sight if they were fixed. I still bought them , because I hate the 3 prong look of the a2 front sight. Dagger, please make these in a fixed version. They are excellent.

Perfect fit on the rail! Really nice iron sights! Love them
Super nice flip up iron sights. Need two fingers to open them but that’s OK. You won’t miss. Fit the pic rail flawlessly. I have them mounted 90*, right side on the 7.62. They lay flat nearly unnoticeable and won’t catch the strap like the scope and red dot will. If The laser, scope, or red dot get fouled with dirt, these are ready to go allowing lots of lead down range like a boss in an easy flip. Built by the best! You won’t be disappointed

Not for Match Shooting
Like they are all metal, but when locked in the up?shooting position, they tend to be loos enough to move when firearm discharges. If you are building a Target gun, These are not the sights for you. However, If you have a firearm you are building for someone else and want to ensure the firearm functions properly, these sights will at least get you on paper.

ONE STAR REVIEW 40 rounds and the hinge pin walked out
These are garbage, but Amazon hid my review because I only gave them ONE STAR. After exactly 40 rounds, the hinge pin on the front sight walked its way out, so the front sight post assembly was cocked about 15 degrees, and probably would have fallen out after more rounds. I've dealt with Dagger Defense before, and they don't back up their products, so the money I paid for these is wasted.
