The light switch stopped working properly
The brightness/dimmer switch is also the on/off switch. The bulb is not able to be changed. I knew this when I bought the lamp, but one evening a couple of weeks ago I had the light on bright and it suddenly went dim on it's own, and I haven't been able to make it bright since. I contacted the manufacturer per instructions from Amazon (I purchased the lamp a year and 3 months ago), but did not get a response. I like the looks of the lamp, but unfortunately I can't recommend it because it doesn't last. For how much it cost I expected it to last as long as a regular lamp (I have lamps that are over 40 years old and they all work). The light bulb was supposed to last for 50,000 hours according to specs on another site. I don't know if it's the switch (which still turns the light on dim) or the bulb, but it is very disappointing.

Arrived broken.
From what I could see, I was not impressed with this lamp. I stopped unpacking when I discovered it was broken. The metal seemed cheap. Part of the socket was broken off. It looked great in the pictures, but not so much in person. I did not reorder.
